Women, Join Our Rosh Chodesh Prayers at Shiloh HaKeduma, Tel Shiloh

The תפילת חנה Tefillat Chana, Chana's Prayer at the site where the Biblical Mishkan Tabernacle stood for 369 years at Tel Shiloh.
It's soon to be forty-seven 47 years since Israel liberated the ancient, the Biblical City of Shiloh from Jordanian occupation in the 1967 Six Days War. Besides the occasional tourist archaeological team, pilgrims or curious hiker wandering in, Shiloh had been empty of humans for centuries or more.

Just over thirty-six 36 years ago, a group of Jewish families moved to Shiloh, and Jewish life returned to one of our holiest cities. Today there are over three hundred families, schools, stores and a very active and fascinating tourist site in the Biblical Shiloh.

For the past few years, I've been inviting women from near and far to come to Shiloh to pray together on Rosh Chodesh, the first day of the Jewish Month. We also wander around the holy site and check out the latest archaeological discoveries.

Our next Rosh Chodesh Prayers will be on Rosh Chodesh Sivan, Friday, May 30, G-d willing.
