It's the Same Moetzet YESHA

Moetzet YESHA, the YESHA Council is the same
Moetzet YESHA which totally and utterly failed in preventing Disengagement.

The key people involved in that dangerous fiasco of a "campaign" have neither apologized nor resigned. Sderot and the area nearby are being tormented and attacked by the Arab terrorists based in Gush Katif.

Two years ago, while the paint was still wet in the cardboard refugee camp of Nitzan, Olmert announced more and more massive destruction of Jewish communities. Olmert and his followers, including former Moetzet YESHA leader Otniel Schneller, enthusiastically drew maps delineating which vibrant yishuv (community) was to go the way of Neve Dekalim.

In reaction, from Moetzet YESHA there was silence. It's two years later, and all we hear is:

"This isn't the same Moetzet YESHA; now we
have some new people."
Wearing wig is just cosmetic. It adds hair to the scalp, no more than the new people have changed Moetzet YESHA.

But the old ones are still there!

  • None of them have done the honorable thing and resigned.
  • None of them have asked forgiveness from the Jewish People.

Most communities are full. Families who want to move in are told:

"There isn't any room."

No housing is available.

Davka, today they met with Olmert. Yes, just now. It takes a couple of years from planning to building before houses can be inhabited. Just now they decided to try to find out when the government will lift the building freeze. Why now? Could the upcoming regional council elections be one of the factors?

Whatever, I don't trust them to do a good job. We need real leaders.
