- Wrong #1 is to label the Likud and Prime Minister Binyamin "Bibi" Netanyahu as promoting Right wing policies.
- Wrong #2 are their policies.
At times, like when campaigning or for the right media effect, they talk the talk. But push comes to shove, once the cameras are down and it comes to real policy, not theoretical, they don't walk the walk. In old cowboy and indian movies, they'd be described as having "forked tongues."

After just too many years of Likud-led coalition, I'd say that all the Likud MKs and ministers are the same. None have quit in disgust; their obvious ambition overrides their supposed principles. Coalition partner Yvette-Avigdor Lieberman may try to give the impression of being a tough fighter, but the only thing he really fights for is his own personal power. Some of his policy statements/proposals are even worse than Bibi's.
Unfortunately, the Jewish Home, formerly NRP, is proving itself more Yosef Burg, than the principled patriotic pro-Jewish Rights and Sovereignty in the Land of Israel that most of its voters had been hoping for.
The wily Bibi Netanyahu made his coalition partners sign a contract that was more reminiscent of Dorian Gray than what their voters had voted for.
The backtracking on security cameras for Arab Muslims is embarrassingly outrageous. Simple logic, where's the common sense? The previous policy which policed and inspected everyone but Arab Muslims entering and wandering around the Temple Mount was inexcusable. I'm sure that all of the police and soldiers and their loved ones stationed on the Temple Mount were relieved once those metal detectors were in use. But within a couple of days, Bibi folded, melted showed the world and the Arab terrorists that he does not care about the security of the State of Israel. Each time something like this has happened, many of us expect, or pray, that the coalition will break up and that we'll see politicians with principles.
I guess that "politicians with principles" is an oxymoron.
What a way to enter Tisha b'Av...
- Gd willing, there will be a miracle, and we'll finally have a true, reliable Jewish Leader who fears nobody but Gd Almighty.
- Gd willing, there will be a miracle, and we'll finally have a leader who will impose fully Israeli Sovereignty over the Entire Land of Israel.
That is the only way we will achieve PEACE.

MY PERSONAL RESPONSE:
Regardless of who the Prime Minister of
Israel is, Jews cannot have sovereignty
over the entire Land of Israel,
when most Jews in Israel do not observe
Shabbat, when every year there is a
“gay parade” in Israel, when thousands
of Jews in Israel are married to non-Jews.
Only when all Jews obey the laws of
THE TORAH is it possible for Jews to
bee sovereign over the Land of Israel.

Amen No less than a miracle by the hand of Gd.
He is going to shake things right side up.
Israel will finally no longer be satisfied to be stuck at Kotel, and once again Israel's enemies will flee in terror and fear.
First we must have leaders who recognize Gd and our Jewish sovereign rule here in the Land of Israel. Then the Jewish People will begin to follow. That's what a good leader will trigger.
Mr. Cohen, maybe when Jews stop their hatred for fellow humans then we will have sovereignty over the land. Certainly there is no reason to parade around a city like a bunch of derelicts, but homosexuality has been around before the Torah obviously an after. There is not one single mention in ancient sources against gay marriage. Just hatred from the dati. Are you aware of when this current stabbing intifada began? Right when a charedi stabbed a beautiful young woman here in Jerusalem who was at the event and she was not even gay.
Laws of the written Torah vs laws of the invented oral Torah. Maybe this is why we cannot get sovereignty over the land as we follow an invented derech that is against the Tanach and Moshe.
Batya, I don't think there is a problem for what you wish, even now. But what do you define as Jewish sovereign rule here in the Land? Rabbinical Judaism as we have it? If this is the case, then we can forget ever winning or getting control over the Land as this is against the Tanach and most definitely against Moshe. A glimmer of hope though is the messiah will repair the breaches of the Torah. Can the dati accept that there are a ton of breaches? Also the Tanach is clear of a new covenant (obviously not like the Roman gentile xtians believe in).
Here is a response to a fellow that I was communicating with this AM. Since it refers to the Third Temple.
What? Did you not read the Tanach? See Jeremiah 31:31-34. It is going to be changed. And Jews need to stop assuming that our tradition is true, because it is not in many cases. The lies began exactly 2200 years ago with a political party called the pharisees. (by the way, Feiglin supports them obviously). Why did God almost fry the Jews out of existance, try rabbinical Judaism. Why can we not build the Temple now, because of incorrect tradition of men saying that the Temples were on the Temple Mount when IN FACT according to the Tanach, they were in the City of David. So who is lying here, even the Tanach tell us so in Jeremiah 8:8. You see, tradition is not fact nor actual history in many cases. Do you realize that we can build right now, today, the third temple on the actual site in the City of David which they are currently escavating. We dont need to say anything, but then the world will soon learn and even the muzrats that they put a golden dome over the spot the roman govenors issued out sentences and the place is of none importance. Not only that, look at the picture of the rock, its filled will carvings from Christianity. Even the RADAK said that there has never been a gentile shrine built over the location of the Temples. Before the dome of the rock, there were two churches. It is us my friend that has this wrong. Maybe this is why we cannot make headway, maybe because of changing the Torah we have been exiled and then punished. But tradition is stronger than facts.
I have to agree that ironically Bibi is not a "right-winger.". It's time for him to go, and I don't want to hear about no one being able to lead the government.
Maybe the issue is who will be willing to take on the world (yes, even the USA) and do the right thing. I agree that we should not trust in any of the world's leaders. How has that worked out, by the way? Maybe we are seeing a change slowly taking place and ultimately it will be for the best.
The commentator known as Mr. Shiloh is a highly-opinionated but ignorant man. I would not be surprised if he were revealed to be a Karaite or Christian.
He has a big mouth and a small brain.
In the discussion of July 31, 2017, Mr. Shiloh actually said
“There is not one single mention in ancient sources

Wow! Wow!! Wow!!! WOW! WOW!! WOW!!!
I do not understand why the blog moderator tolerated this comment, which is false and ignorant and wicked. If the blog moderator would listen to me, I would ask her to delete all of Mr. Shiloh’s recent comments.
Mr. Shiloh expresses dangerous opinions about extremely delicate matters that he is not even halfway qualified to comment on. If the blog moderator would listen to me, I would ask her to delete all of Mr. Shiloh’s recent comments.
I hope that Mr. Shiloh is not harmed by this comment; I just believe that Jews are all better off without his worthless remarks.

Hi, Math Professor (from one math professor to another)...
Mr. Cohen, I understand your sentiments, but this is not yet the Redemption. We should not confuse our being allowed to have sovereignty over our land with the ultimate result, which we are all praying for.
Your concerns are noted. Unfortunately, this will take some time.
