In All Honesty...

To be perfectly honest, I just don't believe that the security forces have any proof that the Jewish suspects that have been tortured and are still being tortured to extract confessions are guilty of burning that house in Duma. And I will not believe it until and unless I see real proof. I'm disgusted that so many people including rabbis support Shabak and take for granted that the boys are guilty.

There is one very simple test that can prove it. Check handwriting, including spray-painting and see if  any of them write in such a distinctive way. Today at the Shabbat women's class I've been participating in every week (for the past 34 years,) if they know of any young Jewish men who have handwriting like this or of any school that trains the students to form letters like this.

Total silence greeted my question. Our group consists mostly of grandmothers and even a great-grandmother. We all know how boys of that generation write. So, why do the Shabak keep torturing the boys instead of simply checking their handwriting, especially with spraypoint which is much more difficult to control?

Your post is spot on Batya! I can just imagine the outcry if the Shabaq were treating Arab suspects in such a 'legal' tortuous manner. I saw and heard an interview on INN with one of the suspects released from custody and was horrified of his tales of having his head smashed against the wall; being deprived of sleep; being hit repeatedly ; etc. If THAT is not considered torture, what is? My brother-in-law is a lawyer and says that Duma has a history of friction between clans so as you suggest, why isn't THAT avenue being more seriously investigated? FOR SHAME! And may Hashem bless you for speaking up for these young men!

NG, thanks. As you know that's why I blog. We can't trust the mainstream media, nor the "powers."

Can't imagine any normal right thinking mind could even suspect these youths. They are being used as scapegoats. Even anyone who would have committed such a crime and been arrested should never, ever be tortured, especially in a Jewish country, supposedly run by "Jews". Any which way one looks at this case, there's nothing else to say, but that it smells. May H' have mercy on these youths and may they be released soon and those who committed the torture need to be held accountable. The rabbis who spoke up against our Jewish children even though they knew they were being tortured are 'no way rabbis'.
It seems there is no evidence and so they want to save face or something and the saga continues. Hashem y'rachem al amo Yisrael.

Along with the rest of you, i would be happy to find that it was muslims rather than jews. There is just one problem...the shabach knows their car was there that night....

who's car: "shabach knows their car was there that night"?

Neshama said...

How could a car be involved, when the so-called 'eye-witness' said he saw 4 men running toward Maaleh Efraim??

Nothing makes sense.

Right. If the car had been mentioned earlier, it might be believable. But it wasn't. Only the four men running - if even that is true. It's one's word against another's, not said in a courtroom under oath, etc.

But considering the history - do you know that Rabbi Yehuda Richter recorded a history of nefarious goings-on since before WWII ended? - I would advise: don't believe anything the media tells you. They're trying to trap us into trial-by-media.

Torture in the Holy Land...Nothing New

CDG, yes, the whole business stinks from beginning to end.

thanks batya for treating the subject and CDG for the video and it's great historical (histerical!!) lesson...nothing new as said ,but it had to be reminded for me , at least!

Oh, it makes sense as a manufactured case. The question is, does it make sense any other way?

But they've convinced Netanyahu, who is not suspicious enough and also not informed enough about the events that led up to the Rabin assassination. Also Ayelat Shakad.

Chief Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu of Tzfat is suspicious about that dancing at a wedding - who did that.

By the way, could you clarify that about the handwriting? What age and from what background would the person who wrote that be?

Hana, glad to have enlightened you.
