Apropos to all the
diplomatic protests about Israel's announcement that we'll be
building more homes for Jews in Land liberated in the 1967 Six Days War, Israel must respond forcefully.
“I do not know why the nations of Europe prefer to listen to lies,” Kashriel told The Jerusalem Post on Monday.
He spoke out as Britain, France, Spain, Denmark and Sweden summoned Israeli ambassadors stationed in their country and urged them not to allow the building plans for 3,500 apartment units in E1 to be deposited. The US, Russia and Germany also condemned the move as threatening the two-state solution.

And it's also time to bring the
Levi Report out of the closet. Unless Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu does publically support the
Levi Report which proves that Israel has every legal right to build whatever it wants in the Land liberated in the 1967 Six Days War, all these
building announcements are just campaign rhetoric.

Bibi understands perfectly well that those who pay dues to his Likud Party are further to the Right than his policies have been. He wants those votes on January 22 for the Knesset. It was very clear in the primaries that contrary to the media hype, the country is more to the Right than ever before. Moshe Feiglin and Tzippi Hotovelli along with other Right wing candidates did extremely well in the Likud Primaries. And polls show the country moving further to the Right.
It's a matter of simple numbers; Right families have more kids, which make more voters.

Most Israelis are very angry about the rude, undiplomatic
rebuking of Israeli ambassadors as a protest against Israeli policy. We want Israel to respond in kind by expelling those countries' ambassadors from Israel. Declare them
Persona Non Grata
Several European capitals on Monday summoned Israeli ambassadors to sharply express unhappiness over Israel’s plans to significantly expand settlement construction, as anger over the move worldwide continued to simmer.
I have no doubt that they took this move because they know that Israel won't retaliate. So, retaliate we must! That's the only way for the world to treat us the way an independent peace-loving country should be treated.
If we don't demand respect, we won't get it!
PS Until I see those buildings Bibi has announced, I honestly won't believe that he is building them. Netanyahu is a consummate politician/magician and loves to play games. With elections rapidly approaching, he's more likely to be playing the
illusion game than ever.

It is very important to vote to the right of the Likud in the election. Bibi will be the next PM for sure since the left is so much smaller than the right and so disunited. Every vote for the Bayit Hayehudi or Ben-Ari means more pressure against Bibi and the bogus two-state solution. I voted for right-wing candidates in the Likud primary and am getting the most bang for my vote by voting to the right in the election. What number is Uri Bank in the Bayit Hayehudi-NU list? He is the Moledet representative, young and and Anglo (originally from Cleveland) and I would like to see him in. Moledet was not ranked high enough in the NU list last time to enter the Knesset.
Not Bayit Yehudi, only Ben-Ari/Eldad. Bayit Yehudi is still 100% NRP/Mafdal and is campaigning to support Bibi and join his cabinet.
My thought is that even if buildings/communities are erected....will they eventually be dismantled?
That is a huge problem, too it seems....
Actually, I find all this "ambassador rebuking" quite amusing. I do not take it seriously at all. The dogs bark, and the caravan moves on. Let them keep on barking. We will keep on building.
Ben-Ari is a good guy. I really liked the stunt they pulled when they brought the Sudanese infiltrators from South Tel Aviv too a swimming pool further north.
However, I think that the Bayit Yehudi/Tekuma party has a better chance of being a part of the government and influencing policy.
cos, you got it wrong. The two dozen plus cabinet members don't influence the rugs in their offices. Stay away from NRP-NU they just want their Volvos.
Influence comes from the outside, the opposition, and that's why you need to give your vote to Eldad and Ben-Ari.
I spoke with Ben-Ari and he agreed that the filipinit-overstayers aren't "infiltrators" and he will leave them out of the debate. I told him to just move them to Samaria, unclog T-A. Generally, they'll do what any alpha-male authority tells to do. It's what they do.
Shalom,What about Rav Amnon Yitzhak Running for Knesset. That is the only party worth voting for in my opinion. I remember Shas abstaining in the vote to push Gush Katif out. They strolled the grounds while the vote was going on. I do not have the whole picture of why they did it but no explanation then, they lost my vote now.
ok Alan
a, I'm not sure about Rav Amnon, what he really stands for but I do know Eldad and Ben-Ari and trust them.
