Peace is Not in Israel's Hands

The State of Israel has always done its very best to live in peace with its neighbors. And that began long before the State of Israel was established. Even the earliest neighborhoods, kibbutzim, moshavim and yishuvim were always established on empty or deserted lands.

On the road to Shiloh from Jerusalem

So much of the Land of Israel is empty, especially in Judea and Samaria and the Negev etc.

This entire neck of the woods, from east of the Jordan River to the Mediterranean on the west, the Kinneret up north and south of the Dead Sea was pretty unpopulated, undeveloped and barren until the beginnings of the Zionist movement brought Jews to live here, not just waiting to die. There had always been a Jewish presence, neverending in Gaza, Hebron, Jerusalem Tzfat and more cities. But once the European Zionists showed up, buying land, planting grapes and vegetables and more, Arabs came, too, looking for work.

And were these Arabs grateful for the opportunity to live and work here? No, they murdered Jews and plundered Jewish homes and businesses. Arab Muslim terrorism isn't something new or post-1967 Six Days War. It's certainly as old as the first Zionist communities if not older.
  • We Jews aren't the ones stopping peace.
  • We Jews aren't the ones causing war.
  • We Jews are the victims of Arab terrorism.
There is absolutely nothing we can do except defeat the terrorists, execute all caught, and make sure they know and the world knows that we will not tolerate terrorism and attacks on our civilians and soldiers.

Shabbat Shalom UMevorach
Have a Peaceful and Blessed Shabbat!!

Of course, it's only in H's Hands (so to speak). Peace only comes after total Victory just as H' promised!

Midrash Rabah, Seder Naso, Parshah 11, Paragraph 7:
Peace is a great thing, because it is granted to people who do repentance (teshubah)…

PERSONAL COMMENT: The most peaceful places I know are the cities of Passaic and Clifton; both cities are filled with Baalei Teshubah.
