Palestine Heritage Museum- Rhetoric, not Artifacts

Vive la différence! While museums and archaeological sites all over Israel, large and small, are full of artifacts that prove the Jewish historical connection to the Jewish People and the Land of Israel, the Holy Land, the expensive building called the "Palestine Heritage Museum" recently built in Birzeit is empty.

They claim that it was due to administrative problems that the planned embroidery exhibit wasn't put up for display.  Embroidery? Duh? How does that prove a connection to Land, a history?

Here in Shiloh, we have discovered the Biblical Shiloh City Walls and so many certified and proven artifacts from Biblical days, when Shiloh housed the Mishkan, Tabernacle. Recent testing of the food found in the jugs pictured above verify that it is from about fifty years before the rule of King David, when there were still pilgrimages to the Mishkan, Tabernacle Shiloh.

The more the archaeologists dig and the more they check, the more confirmation is proven of the Biblical narrative. Yes, only the Jewish People can prove thousands of years of connections and history to our precious Land of Israel!!

Did Buji Fall for a "Fake" by Bibi?

My son plays and coaches tackle football. One of his good friends and teammates was interviewed not long ago about football and when asked about the "brutality" of the game, he acted offended and said that he looks at the game as an intellectual game, just like chess... I'm pretty sure that Prime Minister Binyamin "Bibi" Netanyahu and the incoming Minister of Defense Avigdor "Yvette" Lieberman are chess players. I wonder if they also like American Football, because it seems to me that they pulled one of those "Trick" football plays.

While Isaac "Buji" Herzog and Bibi were busy discussing the issues and negotiating how to bring Herzog's Zionist Movement into the coalition, and all eyes and pundit were on them, suddenly Lieberman ran with the ball for a touchdown! And he managed to knock Bogie Ya'alon off of the field without losing speed for even a second. 

LAHAV HARKOV wrote a great opinion piece in the Jerusalem Post comparing Buji to the hapless Charlie Brown who always falls for such tricks.

Imposed "Peace" is More Like Rape

Two Israelis have been killed and more than a dozen left injured after two Palestinian attackers launched a gun and knife attack on a bus in Jerusalem in what has been labelled a "day of rage". (gagadaily.com)

The French, Americans and other dangerous busybodies have been gathering forces to conduct a dangerously faux Peace sic conference in which they delusionally plan on concocting a so called "peace" agreement between Israel and her enemies which would enable the establishment of a new Arab terror state aka "Palestine."

Paris is to host an international meeting in May of 20 countries, including Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Jordan, to discuss the peace process. Israel and the Palestinians have not been invited. (abc news)

Of course, none of them give a hoot nothing they decide/impose will bring a true peace and that Israel is an independent country that has never harmed any other.

Middle East Deal Making

Deja vu to the days centuries ago, when European nations divided up what is today called South America among them and a century ago, or less, when they invented new countries in the middle east. Winston Churchill later admitted to drawing borders over strong drink and rather drunk. Today, the foreign politicians may be more careful with the whiskey, but they are certainly drunk on power, which is even more dangerous.

To me it's very clear that whatever "decisions" this French-American-European initiative comes up with will be bad for the security and continued existance of the State of Israel.

Their attempts to play god and impose a "solution" is no different from a diplomatic rape on the State of Israel. 

Trump is Inching Ahead of Hillary, No Surprise!

Too many people have been claiming that Donald Trump is bad as the Republican Presidential Nominee, because he hasn't a chance in hell to win against Hillary Clinton. Well, if that's your best excuse against him, you had better look for another one.

Personally, I am not at all surprised.

From the very beginning, the media and pundits have overwhelmingly underestimated Trump's appeal to American voters of all colors, socio- economic groups, stripes etc.

No doubt that history will call the American 2016 Presidential Elections, the voter rebellion or the rise of the anti-establishment candidates. The fact that Bernie Sanders of the Democrats has not only refused to concede defeat to Hillary Clinton, but actually is continuing to win primaries, and Donald Trump has totally mowed down every single Republican wannabe is a wake up call to all willing to listen.

American voters are disgusted with how the country is going down the drain, whether it's the legitimizing of illegals, outsourcing which is leaching jobs from America or the fact that they don't feel at all safe in public toilets with the now very flexible definitions of male and female.

With less than six months to the U.S. Presidential Elections, what's your prediction now?!?

Palestine: Fictional Country/People

When I send out a batch of family photos, I have to use an account that for whatever reason doesn't allow regular correspondence, so I always label (put in the subject) it with:

"Please reply to ...gmail.com."

And inevitably, replies get sent to that account and vary rarely to my gmail one. And recently I did someone a favor and sent out an email for her to a group list very clearly writing:

"Please don't reply. Call the following number..."

And of course, you guess, I got lots of emails for her and had to forward them.

It's that same sort of careless reading that people use to claim that there had been a "state called Palestine,"sic here where there now is the State of Israel. They use old maps of the Middle East  as proof:

They don't bother checking history books. Just a quick google brought me to the site with these maps. Here are two more which make it very clear, especially if you read the captions that there hadn't been a country named "Palestine" at all.

There always were Jews here, even after the destruction of the Second Temple. Jews lived all over in many cities, not only Jerusalem, Tzfat and Hebron. I have neighbors who are descended from the Jewish community in Gaza. Yes, until not all that long ago, and I'm talking pre-State of Israel there had always been Jews in Gaza. It had never been an Arab country until just recently when Israel gave it to Hamas and its supporters.

And yes there were also Arabs here, not too many. That is until Zionism brought economic opportunities for both Jews and Arabs. That's when many Arabs emigrated from Egypt, Syria, Lebanon and further away. And don't forget that Jordan is also a Twentieth Century invention. Great Britain, contrary to the instructions they were given for the "Palestine Mandate," gave all of Transjordan, the land east of the Jordan River to the Hashemite Tribe from Saudi Arabia, and they (the Hashemites) have been occupying it ever since.

Ever since the Jewish Kingdoms and People were defeated and banished from this part of the Middle East, there hadn't been a home-grown independent country here until the Establishment of the State of Israel in 1948. We have returned, and the Land is OURS!!

Nobody Wants Herzog in Coalition but Bibi and Buji

More on the talks PM Netanyahu has been having with Isaac Buji Herzog about his joining the very minimalist coalition. The other day, in Jeremy's blog, it was written that the polls show that the Israeli public does not want to see Labor aka Zionist Union in the coalition. Polls are showing that Herzog's support is quickly waning and moving to Yair Lapid en masse. So, right now, Herzog with a possible 24 MKs is highly overvalued, and he's trying to take advantage of it.

So, it's pretty obvious that Buji sees Bibi as his lifeline to political survival. Jeremy's latest post concentrates on the question of whom the public wants to see joining the coalition, Knesset Channel Poll: 41% want Liberman to join Netanyahu Government.

All these political machinations just show us how far removed coalition politics is from the will of the people.

Will Bibi and Buji make a deal?

Let's see what they haggle out. And I have no doubts that Herzog really want in, because it's his last chance, though he most probably won't manage to take all his MKs with him. Bibi Left with Buji: No Jewish Building in Judea/Samaria

About those rumors of Prime Minister Binyamin "Bibi" Netanyahu making a deal with Opposition Leader Isaac "Buji" Herzog, apparently there's some truth to it.

Channel 10 News reveals that Netanyahu and Herzog are drafting an announcement on a freeze on construction in Judea and Samaria.

And as I wrote the other day, it's Bibi who's moving Left more than Buji to the Right. But to be honest, the so-called Rightist Bibi has never been big on building for Jews in Judea/Samaria. He has announced more building freezes than anyone else. It's his favorite technique to show that he's a "centrist" aka Leftist in Rightist costume/disguise. And that's one of the many reasons I don't vote Likud!!

From what I understand, the building freeze affects the larger communities in Judea and Samaria more than small ones like Shiloh, where, as you can see in the following photos, people are expanding their tiny homes to suit their large families.

One of Netanyahu's claim is that he promotes a free economy based on supply and demand, but the truth is that he plans the economy, building in a very political way. Many yishuvim, Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria would be much larger if we had varieties of housing options. There are waiting lists, and the larger towns/cities like Maale Adumim have been suffering terrible price rises because of insufficient housing starts.

Gone are the days when the government built neighborhoods and towns even with special rent/buy deals and mortgage rates for young couples/families and new immigrants. That is not just a Judea/Samaria problem. It's very hard for the low and even middle income couples to save for a small apartment and pay a mortgage. The rents eat up all their income. This has been going on for a couple of decades.

Many young couples choose to live in communities in Judea/Samaria, because of the strong community spirit and excellent education. And in some places it is possible to buy a small inexpensive old home to be fixed up and added to relatively reasonably. That's what these young families have done or are doing.

I don't think that the Bibi-Buji deal is good for the country at all!

Republicans Shooting Themselves in The Foot!

In their foolish and completely antidemocratic way, the Republican machine/establishment is going against the will of their people to try to sabotage Donald Trump. Contrary to all predictions from the experts before and early in the campaign, the outsider Donald Trump had no real problem defeating all of the establishment wannabes to win the Republican Presidential nomination.

I've written before, and I'm not the only one to say this, that by sabotaging Trump and going contrary to the wishes of potential Republican voters, not only will they be handing the US Presidency to the Democrats, but they are destroying the Republican Party.

One of the principles of American democracy is "winner takes all." In the United States, unlike Israel, there is no real status to the loser, the "Opposition Leader." He/she is "history," has no government role, because even if the loser had been a top senator or congressman, he/she would have resigned to run for the presidency. In Israel the Opposition Leader is the head of the largest party not in the ruling coalition, meaning that he/she is an MK-has a parliamentary seat and all the power, committee appointments and privileges that entails.

By trying to push in a "third party" Republican to run against Trump and the Democrats, they will certainly not only lose the elections, destroy the Republican Party,  and cause major cynicism in those who had once believed in the party's principles. And they would actually strengthen Trump as a national leader, proving that his antiestablishment ways are truly legitimate.

And back to the image of shooting themselves in the foot. It would be like hitting a major artery and causing fatal blood loss. I doubt they can recover from such an act. They only way to rehabilitate the party is to fully support Trump.

National Unity Government? UGH!

I think we all know that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has really wanted a national unity government for a long, long time. I can see his point, but I'm happier with the status quo, and that's the same reason why he wants an expanded government coalition.

Bibi wants a national unity government, because his narrow, bare minimum 61 out of 120 MK coalition is too tight to allow him to make any policy changes. That's, davka, why I like it. I hate to think what he and Leftist Herzog have up their sleeves when putting them together.

Unity gov't talks continue apace, as sources close to the prime minister say he's made a very generous offer to opposition leader Herzog.

Lately, Isaac Buji Herzog has been making statements that give the impression he has moved towards the Right, meaning Center. And since Bibi has been doing the same from the Right, their positions are meeting/similar in some cases. I guess they are now following the same game plan...

It means that next elections there will be nothing to choose between; both large parties will be pretty much the same. Granted that the MKs aren't, but they don't run the show.

If Herzog bites, then will Tsippi come along? And will Bennett remain in the coalition?

{1} Muslims are LYING when they deny that Jews trace their historical origins to the Land of Israel.

 

{2} Muslims are LYING when they deny that Jerusalem is the historical capital of the Jewish state.

 

{3} Muslims are LYING when they deny that the Jewish Temple existed in Jerusalem.

 

{4} Notice that Tacticus mentioned Judea, NOT Palestine.

 

{5} Tacticus never mentioned the Palestinian people, even though he wrote

much about Jews and their land, because there were no Palestinian people in his time.
