Rivlin and the Bereaved Mother: The Story Gets WorsePresident Reuven Rivlin angered the bereaved family of Danny Gonen instead of comforting them when he visited them on their shiva – the seven-day mourning period – and new details have emerged on just how badly the president has apparently handled the situation.
As reported by Arutz Sheva Friday, Assaf Golan, an editor at Makor Rishon, who visited the family, posted on Facebook Thursday night that the bereaved mother, Dvora Gonen, was in a furious emotional state during the shiva, after public officials and senior IDF officers who came to visit her told her that her son is to blame for his death. “Worst of all” was President Rivlin, who said that if Danny Gonen had been carrying a gun, the terror attack would never have happened.... They all base this on the precedent of Menachem Begin who after being elected (yes indirectly as party leader and forming the ruling coalition as is the Israeli system) Prime Minister in 1977, reversed his lifelong ideology/policies and destroyed Jewish towns and villages in order to give the Sinai to Egypt.
I guess I shouldn't be all that surprised that Ruby had the unmitigated gall to blame the victim of Arab terrorism instead of blaming Arab culture and society and that so-called "partner for peace," the P.A.'s Abbas for supporting terrorists and their families.

Reuven Rivlin has a huge disappointment as President. He makes Shimon Peres look like a hard-liner.
There is something in the water that makes Israeli officialdom abandon life-long positions and deeply held beliefs to appear reasonable in front of the world.
Even if that means offending grieving families to get it across.
Yes its sad that we have these leaders we do. But maybe think about why it's happening. Since God is in charge, what is the message? Since we don't want the one who was publically identified in 2002 by the Creator, have fun with these drech you all deserve.

Shiloh, you have it wrong. We are not puppets. Gd does not conduct us like in the Philharmonic. Humans have been given Free Will which allows us to make the wrong decisions. We are in charge, and we must pay, collectively, for our mistakes.

Now, watch this video, why is no one in Israel screaming about Jerusalem being actually internationalized and divided right before our eyes?? This Jew in this video, though we consider him an apostate with his beliefs (stop the video at the end of his news story and you don't need to listen to his incorrect beliefs) is telling us that our city, Jerusalem, is in fact gone as I have been saying also for years now. Listen to what he says about our current leader which explains one hell of a lot now. Its time to wake up.
Just one more thing Batya, we are paying collectively and will also be rewarded collectively. But we are our own worst enemies as we all know. It simply does not, it does not have to progress this way. We have free will also to make the right decisions. We must wake up.

My civil rights prioroty is Jewish prayer and unrestricted Jewish access and full sovereignty on Har Habayit!
We should have full rights to build the house of prayer. We will then see where the world comes to pray to the Creator of All. Its up to us to create our destiny, not the goyim.
