Fuckin sick self-hatred talk by an insane little sick man. Very Sad. I've heard this rhetoric before, it is not the God Spell (Gospel).

I can not believe what I'm seeing and hearing! Am I really listening to a religious sermon? It this man really a man whom acts on behalf of God in teaching all others principles of kindness, forgiveness, decency, and godliness? It can't be? While he may have had some substance to his views of Obama, his speech, oops sermon, was filled with such hate, rancor and disrespect, it became an oxymoron. And an outright joke. All I can say, wow, Pastor Manning, it is “Pastor” – right? For some reason, I would not have thought you were a pastor. YOU NEED JESUS!!!.

Wow! My God Black Man!!!! How you do hate this man called Barack Obama. The stuff that comes out of your mouth is mind boggling! You talked about this man's mother as if he had a choice in who his mother was going to be. What a strange way you have of thinking. No rational human being would stand and speak the way you do, and claim that God told you to speak these words. I feel sorry for you and anybody who follows you. You have some serious mental healt issues. White folks have talked about how ignorant they think we are as a people, and you have shown them that some of us are truly ignorant! Your comments are worse than any member of the KKK. I feel so sorry for you. What the hell is wrong with you?

A Black Woman who Loves God, Country and Barack Obama

Everyone has the right to their opinion. However, this person who fronts as a "Man of God" and speaks this way of another Human being from the pulpit is a disgrace. Is this what he learned from Jesus? I think this would be called bearing false witness. As much as I always Hated this term I can only think of one way to describe this guy... House Negro. Obama didn't choose the situation he was born into and this "man" has no Idea who Obama's parents really were yet he calls him and his parents trash. This person is an embarrassment to the black community. He supposedly loves Jesus and talks this way about a man he does not really know... even has the gaul to quote the bible, shame. Did Obama pay for the Obama girl Videos? I doubt this person can even read much less earn a PHD from a respectable University or College his lack of even a basic logical argument here proves this . The Clintons insulted African Americans, but I understand he can't turn his back on Masa... it's alright brother when you come to your senses we'll welcome you into the 21st century where we "blacks" can be free to Do as we like outside of some monolithic hive mind. If anyone sees this man let him know He doesn't speak for anyone but his tainted flock and that God forgives. After today I think more folks will find this clip and this dude will get the attention he so obviously desires.

From the KKK we appreciate you for your comments!!! We need more deceived niggers like you and your followers!!! You are doing a great job of misleading other niggers, and leading them in the right direction for hell! Thank you!

Another despeate black man seeking attention in hopes of financial compesation to see that he is able to survive the future. He is the sell out, not Obama. He represents that of which is hypocrisy, not Obama. He is the root of ignorance is what is a core example of what is wrong with not only the black community, but all communites, not Obama. This is another publicity stunt put on by a desperate man. Not one person in that room was taking him seriously, and neither should you or I. There is a term where I come from, that poor folk such as myself reciet from time to time in order to compashionately extinguish illusory bogus claims; squash it.

You have no universal knowledge, let alone knowledge of self; therefor you spew nonsence, hate, and division through ignorance...YOU IGNORANT FUCK and your IGNORANT FOllowers!!

While this sermon is a bit extreme,
it is very representative of one of the great debates in African American history. I am referring to the two conflicting schools of thought of Booker T Washington and WEB DuBois. Washington argued that physical skills and talent were more important for the black man so that they could become self sufficient and acquire material goods for themselves without having to rely on white people, essentially submitting to the social standard that blacks are a lesser people, and survive on their own. DuBois on the other hand argued for education and for the black man to educate himself and to overcome oppression by become self-aware and developing their own interests as a race. I believe that Pastor Manning is in the DuBois camp. He is saying that Obama has in no way expressed an interest for the black race. He has sold out to the white regime and does not see the need for Black self-awareness. The only way that blacks are going to overcome their state of poverty is to become self aware, and that is only achievable through education, not cumulating material goods aka "bling". I am not saying that Obama is supporting that ideal, but as an African American I would not be satisfied with Obama's approach, or lack thereof, towards the interest of the black man. As a black president, Obama is going to do NOTHING for the interests of the black race, and that is a problem.

I love it, this man is correct. Obama's an Oreo. He wont do anything different than any white man, but he will exploit black people to vote for him.

In every human community there always emerges from the dark rocks of self destruction...a Judas. I find it absolutely appalling that you, an African American that has been exposed to all kinds of racial injustices...and I can say that because I live in this country and know the plight of people of color and just the fact that your skin tone is dark...I know it has not escaped you and yet, you will go out of your way to denounce another person of multicolor (Half African/Half White) and put him to the test beyond any other candidate on the horizon is an indictment of you and how you must see yourself personally. I personally would not be surprise if a Republican is paying you off for your committment to disrupt Obama race to the white house and you are using God as a shield or covering for you are truly not doing the work of God but the work of all who seek to oppress those and keep them in a state of limbo and paralysis. You should be ashamed of yourself. Do you also show up at McCain rallys or do you only makes special trips to Obama? If you don't want to vote for Obama...simply don't vote for him. If you think McCain represents your views and interests..then vote for McCain...for I would not waste my time going to McCain rally for I have no intention of voting for him so what would be my purpose of going to his rally? It makes no sense whatsoever...unless I am sent there for the sole purpose to disrupt them and bring distractions to the table. Which I suspect this is the reason why you show up there. Did you also showed up at John Kerry rally in 2004? What about Al Gore...or are you only interested in indicting the African American man that is running in this time zone? And if so, what is your true agenda for it is not from God by any stretch of the imagination. Jesus Christ lived in a time where the Roman government was corrupt beyond definition and yet he led not one protest...to the contrary ...his main problem was always with the religious leaders of those days who were masking around trying to pretend to be holy as if they were doing HIS WILL, but Christ immediately exposed them for doing the will of their father...which was the devil. White washed tomb stones that tried to hide behind religion all along simply making havoc and doing the very opposite of the Will of God...and that was and still is to save the lost...not protest a political position..I think you got the wrong memo..for if you truly knew God, you would know that you are not of this world and that everything of this world is temporary. You would be more concern with the lost state of humanity and you would not even identify yourself as "blacks against Obama" but "Human Beings for Christ" would have been your banner and you would have been on the highways and byways seeking the lost souls all around us....not at some political rally.

No wonder white folks think we are so unappreciative of what we have, ya'll posting here make me ashamed. What the hell is the matter with you? Can't be grateful to a man just because he's white?

On the other hand, this man is out of line about Obama.

The crazy thing is they've convinced themselves they're right, and that "God" is on their side. Sick and twisted they are. They will be the downfall of the modern day American empire, just as the Roman, Greek, Ottoman, Persian etc empires all came to an end, when political decadence and public ignorance came to a height and exhausted the capacity of the state. More McPain = more Bush, = further falling into oblivion. When will we see the light.

I don't expect Obama to just do something for the Black race as one man noted, I do expect him to do something for the American people which is what he is being elected to do. As an American who happens to be African-American I trust that at least the programs and policies that he promotes will be colorblind for once...

Anonymous said...

Wow, here i was thinkin all black people were just voting for Obama because he is black and a Democrat. It turns out there are black people who are actually thinking about what they are voting for as opposed to just voting for a color and party.

I have no problem with a black president, just not Obama.

NObama because he aint done Sh*# for NObody, EVER.

Obama has done nothing for blacks, whites or any other races for that matter. McCain has fought for and supported good things for all people.

Vote actions NOT words.

Ask yourself this question: if racism and poverty ended today, what political party would be destroyed?

The answer is the democrat/socialist party that depends on the fear of racism and poverty in order to maintain control over their slaves.

A true conservative believes in the ultimate minority, the minority of the individual. Join the blacks against Obama and help put an end to the evils of racism, socialism, poverty, and the American socialists known as democrats.

A vote for Obama is a vote for racism, poverty, slavery, and death.

First of all, I find it disingenious for any African American to place on Obama a demand for him to only care about the issues that pertains to blacks. It is hypocritical and downright ignorant ....when someone is elected President of the United States of America...that individual is hired to represents the interests of all of its citizens ...not just the chosen few. This man who claims to know God need to repent quick fast and in a hurry. First of all, you are called to be a champion for Christ...not politics. You are called to communicate the fundamentals of the faith of which you profess. You have no business telling any of your congregation who they are suppose to vote for ...for you are suppose to be interested in their spiritual growth and development and if YOU did your job as a "man of God" you should trust them with their own conscience before God and rendering to Caesar what belongs to Caesar. Not manipulation of fear and propoganda that you are distributing in the name of peddling the Gospel which is more about politics than Christ. Did you not receive the memo from above and noted that men lives are at stake and this political process is simply a temporary theme within a much larger scope of life? Should not YOU be more concern with the destination of people souls as oppose to what lever they will eventually pull at the voting booth? Have you lost your way in the midst of worldy and civilian concerns that politics is what you are peddling and Christ message of hope and salvation to a lost world is actually discarded and remove from your priority list. REPENT and RETURN BACK TO THE MESSAGE GOD HIMSELF COMMANDED YOU TO TEACH AND PREACH. For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul? The destination of man souls is not hinged on what lever he pull on November forth of this year...it is far more serious than that and if indeed you call yourself a messenger of God and a follower of Christ...then follow HIM and stop using the Holy and Precious Name of Christ for your very carnal and human agenda.

All his sermon does is show that whites are not the only racisits in this world. The way he talked about whites as being whores....look in the mirror people. Racism is in every single race against every single other race. In this country facing the "race" issue, we need to face that fact as well or we will never get anywhere!

I'm disgusted by this man of the cloth, who claims he speaks the word of God, but he is spewing the word of Satan from his lips. This is typical cult rhetoric if you truly paid attention to the things he was saying (not preaching). There was No and I mean No substance to any of his view of Obama, and the language of this so-called honorable pastor was just beyond gut-wrenching. The ignorance that he has displayed in front of his congregation shows that we as a people still have a long way to go to get back to being unified as a whole. I'm so stunned at what I just witnessed and I'm saddened by this outrageous act of nonsense and blasphemy. Judgement Day is soon to come and he will have to answer for his misgivings and the hatred in his heart.

I am not voting for Obama but I have respect for the man and these things said aganist him are unfair. PEOPLE SHOULD STOP AND THINK ABOUT HOW LUCKY THEY ARE TO LIVE IN THIS COUNTRY AND BE PROUD OF WHAT WE HAVE, NOT SO HATEFUL ALL THE TIME!!!!!

Please understand that I can be proud of this country and critique it at the same time...the critique does not negate the pride and the pride does not erase the wrong. This country is as great as it is is because of the critique that came down from history that demanded America to rise to the principles on the pages that has been drafted by the founding fathers and that is still in need of perfecting and correcting to ensure alignment to the idea that has yet to be fully bought to pass. It appears that people think they can dictate what patriotism looks like. Well, I as a descendant of African and Native America have a lot to say about this country and refuse to be silent about real circumstances and issues that had confronted my people on both sides of my heritage. You can not ask me to forget the slavery that has been apart of my legacy..or the fact that another side of my family who are the original Americans...how their land was snatched from them and they were sent off to reservations of which many still resides. We are an accumulation of our life experiences...and what my family on both sides of the spectrum experienced..did help and shape my view of America...it is valid even if it makes YOU uncomfortable is simply incidental and not as relevant as the outcome of how that experience has been passed down from generation to genearation. I find it insulting that people are quick to criticize any African American for expressing his patriotism in a different format than his white counterparts...as if our experiences in this cultural which is quite contrast...should not produce a different outlook and opinion of America. African Americans have contributed to the building up of this country AND has gave their life and blood to the protection of freedom ...even when freedom was just an idea that yet was imparted to them. There were men that fought in wars...and came back to a country that denied them the right to sit on the front of the bus...think about this...they can stand in the line of fire..but not sit on the front of the bus. This is a true and accurate account of this Country contrary to how one would seek to manipulate the facts and make it seems as if these real situations did not exist or we should simply sweep it under the rug or that none of this should impact how we see this country. It is upsurd.

Barack Osama comes from a decent of (black) muslims who owned slaves. Do your research and realize he is not for us.

SRD said...

And how many white people are descendants of slave owners? Do you apply this same measuring ruler to them? Of course NOT. You have no problem with voting for white men who are descendants from former slave owners whatsoever. As a matter of fact, the question is never poised...so why is it offered in this instance?

For the record, Obama is half white and half African. He was raised by his white side of the family and barely knew his African side of the family. His mother was from Kansas and his father was from Kenya. He saw his father about three of four times in his lifetime for he left when Obama was two years of age. I would think that the family that raised him (the white family) had the greater impact on who he is today for it is kind of hard to identify with a picture that does not engage in an exchange of ideas and thoughts for he rarely saw his father. This is fact not fiction or fear that has gone amock without the comfort of faith and truth.

I am a born again Christian. I am taught to have faith and not fear. I am taught to NOT slander anyone. I am taught to do unto others as I would have them do unto me. I am taught that I am to judge a person by the words that come out of their own mouth and not another. For each person should rise or fall based on their own actions and not another.

I find it most offensive that rules and stipulations are offered as a means to examine Obama that has never been assigned to another candidate of our lifetime. Obama must PROVE his patriotism by wearing a flag pin...and no one questions whether or not McCain has one on. Obama is to defend himself against associations meanwhile McCain has just as much questionable associations that never ever get mentioned. Why is that? It is evil and diabolical against everything that Christ stands for ...when we fail to remove the log out of our own eyes and make righteous judgments about this candidate and ask ourselves WHY do I place an unfair technique of examination on one and do not do the same thing for his opponent for if the question is legitimate....then it can be asked of both candidates and not just the one of color.

Christ said that you will know his disciples by how they love one another....and if you are engaged in more slander and hate...you better check your birth certificate and see if you are of the faith. For that birth certificate is etched in the blood of the Lamb which is Christ in us ...the hope of glory. Not the fear of everything but the HOPE OF GLORY. And if your faith is driving off of more hate than love...check your heartbeat and examine if your heart is in harmony with God's heart. For half of the evil and mean spirited statements that is more carnal than spiritual is too worldly and not of above.

Obama continually says he is a Christian. But yet there are those who continually wants to make him a Muslim. Why is that? Why can't you accept his own right to identify with the faith that he selected for himself and not the one that you wants to malign him with. And for the record...as a Christian ...I personally have absolutely nothing against a Muslim and only pray and hope that one day they would come to know the risen Christ. For Christ died for them just as much as he died for me. And although we human beings stumble over dogma and doctrine..I know that it is not dogma or doctrine that saves me but the risen Christ that converts me from the inside out and not from the outside in. As the Bible proclaims...I shall become all things to all men so by any means I may help save some. YOU love people into the Kingdom ...not by despising them but by loving them. This is the Gospel that is hidden underneath the bushel while the fake gospel gets more coverage and press....for many that are called by Christ name much rather hate and slander others....for it cost very little to be hateful and it is the most natural and carnal passage a fallen human being can travel....however, to look at their fellow man and see beyond the differences into the depth of their needs takes more Christ operating out of a vessel of clay than the other wrong example that we see too often.

I will be voting for Obama with prayers and guidance from above. For I am not electing a priest to the White House...but I am selecting a leader to the White House and I do not recall ...Christ getting all bent out of shape when Pontius Pilate was the leader of his day...for Christ himself said that he renders to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and render to God what belongs to God. And when I select the President of the United States ...I am looking at the character of the men involved and the kind of campaign they ran and if they show any sign of integrity. I am not looking at what they did forty or twenty years ago...for I personally am not the same person I was many years ago...and I suspect neither are they. I look at the man they are today and I recognize I am not talking about them as it relates to a church doctrine or rule ...for Christ never once did he tried to make Pontius Pilate his disciple or forced him to adopt his views for his agenda was a spiritual one and Pontius Pilate had an earthly agenda. I think too often we get the assignment mixed up. We are called to go into all the world and make disciples out of men...and we think we have a mandate from God to force everyone to think like us...when in any given church...across this great country...you are fortunate if you find one Christian that agrees with you on every issue...that is extremely rare.

barack obama stands for immorality and I don't like it and I am black. If he passes that Abortion Act ...man. I don't hate him at all , now that the crap has hit the fan all of the Church needs to wake up and start praying . All anybody cared about in this election was economic change and did not look at the spiritual aspect of it. Besides is he really "black" he was practically raised in other countries. I think the facade he carries will mislead lead and black people would have fell for that trick again and enter onto another Bamistad.

SRD said...

Please understand that just as you have decided that abortion is the litmus test for righteousness...I think that how we treat poor people and other human beings beyond the womb is just as important and measures the holiness of one position.

I am a born again Christian and I love the Lord with all my heart. I am also prochoice and prolife. One position does not negate the other position. I believe that God is prochoice/prolife as well. He allows us to make decisions that can affect us throughout all eternity. He allows us the freedom to choose in spite of the consequences. I feel as if we as Christian should seek to reach eachother through the same process as the disciples...and that is through respectful dialogue. We are told by God to go into all the world and make disciples of men. He never said go into all the world and force men and women to follow me.

The Christians in this day seek to force others to be just like them as if following a set of rules would take the place of true genuine conversion which is spiritually induced.

We act too carnal and try to use man made legislation to force non-christians to be like us....but even if every person on the face of this earth is forced to "act" like us...they would be obedient law abiding sinners on their way to Hell.

For it is not our sin that sends us to Hell it is the rejection of the Redeemer who is powerful enough to wash away our sins independent of our work. The spirit is FIRST..and the works follows NOT through force or coercion but through the SPIRIT OF THE LIVING GOD.

Not through our measuring rules of important issues...no matter how important it seems on the surface for I have witness the same people who are against abortion...jump for joy at the prospect of war as if a life within the mother womb is somehow more valuable than a life that is already here. BOTH are important and until we can understand that principle, we will continue to be hypocrites that cherry pick our "righteous concepts" through the lens of our human eyes. Do you think God is wrong for allowing us human beings CHOICE?

For if the truth be examined...that is exactly what he does ...even to our own detriment and if God respect the freedom of choices to mankind...who give man the authority to deny individuals this profound right of passage of existence...keep in mind ...Christ never forced anyone to follow him or obey him..he just inform us of the consequences and left it up to the individual...as his servants we have no right to go beyond those perimeters no matter how much we think it is so noble of a cause.

Preach and teach and STOP going beyond what has been prescribed in Scripture. Each man shall stand or fall on his own decision and not that of another.

He's an inspiration to everyone not just black people and what he says may be hard to hear, but it is true.
For those who struggle and feel downtrodden there is no spoon fed solution, we have to strengthen ourselves and be decent if we are ever to make real change. Electing some puppet who offers us the illusion of transformation is delusion, a delusion which plays on our laziness and weakness.
This man for all his fire brand rhetoric offers the downtrodden and poor a real glimpse of the solution to their ills, they of course for the most part want solutions without effort so they reject his message, but nothing will change until they take individual resonsibility, until they live by decency and honour.
As for Mr Obama, he's a very dubious character, dubious as a black man, dubious as a man of the poor, dubious as an American citizen and very dubious as a Christian. Why America has turned a blind eye to his activities in Kenya and his links to the large scale murders of Christians by Islamists there is a mystery. If Obama were white and he were linked to the politically motivated killing of black Africans then he would be rightly condemned. But because Mr Obama is black it seems that his ties to the mass murder of black Christians is not news worthy.
What American voters would have done well to remember is that in politics there is no black and white, just shades of gray and before this is over Mr Obama and his Islamic links may bring all Americans a great deal more than change.

Anonymous said...

If black leaders preached this man's rhetoric, black America as whole will eventually accomplish the same level of social success as white America. And yes, I understand we elected a half black man for President, I am speaking about the majority of the black population still in need of direction. Encouraging people to continue to depend on government handouts simply creates more of the same. But leaders who teach people responsibility, ambition, motivation to succeed, hard work ethic, honor and integrity, these are the things that we need for our black community. This is how I want to raise my children. Keep preaching Pastor Manning.
