It's so totally predictable. The more Israel apologizes and acts contrite about building in Jerusalem's Ramat Shlomo neighborhood, the more we'll be rebuked/condemned by the United States.
At the same time it's condemning Israel, the United States is spending its taxpayers' money to promote the "Palestinian" sic myth by funding a "Palestinian Ministry of Tourism brochure" which includes a faux history of the pseudo-nation.
Please don't forget that the United States is the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA)'s largest donor, and those are the pre-Barack Hussein Obama figures.
It's very clear to me that Israel must rethink its relationship to the United States. The myth of the United States being a friend of Israel competes with the concept of a "Palestinian nation" as the greatest myth/lie in modern World History and Political Science.
Prime Minister Netanyahu, you're a life-long history buff, so how is it that you don't see through those two bluffs, both so equally dangerous to the future of the State of Israel?

Pity Bibi isn't a life-long movie and theatre buff. If he were, he'd quote Tevye from Fiddler:
"Get off my land!"
Bibi's a history buff and it doesn't help.
It seems he loves the idea of history and the eloquent speeches...rather than the truth in history.
I don't know too much about Israeli/Jewish history but what I do know is that the US is leading Bibi around by the nose and Obama has from day one set his sights of destroying the modern state of Israel.
From the day he went to Jerusalem and said it should never be divided and then backtracked 24 hours later after Hamas complained.
Next he goes to Berlin and says, "People of Berlin, people of the world, this is our moment."
I read that as--"Let's finish what Hitler, what all the enemies of the Jewish people didn't complete."
I will never forget that as long as I live.
Please watch this video about a Hitler wannabe. He reminds me of Obama:

I write that not to be inflammatory. I really do see Obama as a Hitler in the making.
Keli, actually, I don't think Obama has the determination and styaing power. He's just a figurehead. The question is: Who is his controler?
Bibi needs to tell sheikh Obama that from here on out we've decided to forego the 3 billion (most of which never leave the U.S.), which in any event constitutes about only 3% of our budget, and that from now on we'll be free to do business with anybody we choose (China and Russia included). Thanks for everything, but we'll be taking care of our own interest from here on out.
Believe me, it's the U.S. that comes out the loser in that scenario
sabashimon, yes, so true. That's especially because the "aid" is no more than "buy in America only shopping coupons."
