- more homes will be built in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Ramat Shlomo
- Arabs protest, deny that Israel has the right to build in Ramat Shlomo
- The United States opposes Israel's building homes for Jews in Ramat Shlomo
Now, why is United States Vice President Joe Biden in Israel? He wants Israel to participate in US brokered "proximity talks." Nu, what is that? It's just another euphemism for indirect talks. If the Arabs, Fatah, Hamas, they're all the same when you get down to their aims and ideologies, won't talk to us directly, in the same room, same table, there's no chance for peace, the real thing, a diamond which cuts glass, not some cheap, plastic rhinestone.
And isn't a mediator supposed to be impartial, no opinions, stands etc? The United States response is virtually identical to the Arab one. That sounds like heavy pressure, not mediation. The United States claim that they also want a "secure" Israel makes no sense, since a "viable" Pseudostan aka "Palestine" sic precludes such a thing.
Vice President Joe Biden said Wednesday the Palestinians deserve a ''viable'' independent state with contiguous territory, seeking to reassure them of U.S. support after Israel announced plans to expand a Jewish neighborhood in disputed east Jerusalem.
And if that's the case, "Bye, bye Biden" is the nicest thing I can think of saying.

Remember, the only way to make a "contiguous" Pseudostan is to cut Israel into pieces just like the original U.N. partition plan. Once that is done, then they will insist that it would be forbidden for the two halves of Israel to be considered one country. Look what happened to "East Pakistan" and "West Pakistan (now Bangladesh).
For the majority of people who care at all about Israel, the continuing languishing of the "peace process" is probably the best that can be hoped for right now. The Arabs don't care about having a few extra acres in the Middle East. They just don't want the Israelis (or any other non-Muslims for that matter) to have any. It isn't peace but it isn't a bad second place. Eventually, the Arabs with the help of the Europeans and the U.S. as long as the left is in control, will demand something different, at which time Israel should annex the whole of Eretz Israel and offer the Arabs who will accept living in a Jewish state full citizenship and fair compensation and a one-way ticket out of Israel for those who won't. Because in reality, any other "peace" solution will be short lived anyway. And that's just my ignorant opinion.
Sabba Hillel, I agree.
Kae, there's nothing to discuss with the Arabs. Any "agreement" will further endanger the State of Israel.
