Rosh Chodesh Iyar is So SOON!

I know. It happens every year that we are barely recovered from Passover and suddenly it's Yom Ha'atzmaut, Israel's Independence day. There are barely a couple of weeks between the two. And even before Independence Day it's Rosh Chodesh Iyar, the first of the Jewish Month in which there are so many festive days. There's Independence Day, Lag B'Omer and Jerusalem Day. So, no doubt, this is a Rosh Chodesh you'd like to celebrate with us if you can.

This very small gathering of Jewish women
has the power to change our world for the better,
by reciting their prayers and their Tehillim.

How many times have the great Rabbis
taught that the Jewish nation was saved
by the righteous Jewish women?

When I recite Birkat HaMazone, I add these words:
HaRachaman, Hu Yebarech Et Chayaleinu, Ha’Omdim ‘Al Mishmar Artzeinu.
