OT sorta/kinda but oh how I wish the media would use the name of the places (Judea and Samaria) rather than West Bank.
West Bank strips it of all biblical importance:(
Besides (silly as it might seem)Samaria sounds so much like Samaritan as in The Good Samaritan virtually everyone would be kind and not want to give such land that conjures up images of kindness to terrorists.
Keli, we just have to hammer away with the right names, Judea and Samaria.
I couldn't agree more!
It was such a shock for me to learn only months ago that "West Bank" actually referred to Judea and Samaria.
In an editorial I wrote offline I pointed that out. I think many Americans, who claim to know the bible, are ignorant of this, too.
The only legitimate use of the term would be to recognize "Shay Gadot L'Yarden" both sides of the Jordan as Jewish and then the western bank would be from the Jordan to the Mediterranean.
typo, It should be "Shtay Gadot..."
