Speaker-President Itzik May Have To Talk with Herself
If the Olmert administration falls and no one can form a new government, the Speaker of the Knesset must inform the President, who calls for new elections. In the present circumstances with President Moshe Katzav under suspension, Knesset Speaker Dalia Itzik (Kadima) will have to inform the acting President, a position which she holds.
