Does this really herald a new and more sensical policy by the Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and the State of Israel?
Israel suspends EU role in peace process with Palestinians
Israel said on Sunday it was suspending contacts with European Union bodies involved in peace efforts with the Palestinians after the bloc started requiring the labelling of exports from Israeli settlements in the West Bank.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the foreign ministry to carry out "a reassessment of the involvement of EU bodies in everything that is connected to the diplomatic process with the Palestinians", a ministry statement said.
"Until completion of the reassessment, the Prime Minister has ordered a suspension of diplomatic contacts with the EU and its representatives in this matter."

As much as I look forward to it being true, I've been around too long to believe it. Especially when it comes to politicians I just don't believe a word they say, especially when it's something I agree with. Yes, I've become a terrible cynic.

I'd believe it more if the government had begun to expel all the Leftist European and United Nations NGOs that support Arab terrorism!

There's only one thing I believe and that is the simple fact that a politician will say anything he/she believes will get votes. Speeches will change according to the audience and occasion. The job of a speechwriter is to fine-tune a speech for the most applause. The other crucial criteria for a politician is to make his/her financial backers happy. And since some of the Likud/Bibi backers also invest in Judea/Samaria businesses, like the prize-winning excellent wine companies, Netanyahu must react strongly to the EU labeling issue. You know what they say about following the money....

Binyamin is endangering Reuven, at the expense of Y'hudah, basically. Pretty sure it's Y'hudah's responsibility to clean up Reuven and dispatch Mikha'el accordingly, instead of haphazardly [the expulsion from Gush Katif being a major blunder, for example]. Don't endanger Judea, regardless.

If labeling sounds Natz'rat, then don't Buy and Sell. Don't use I.D. Cards. Just use Shekelim. And go off the grid, which is possible, but difficult, in lieu of most People being commanded to Shop, until further notice, but if you are able to stay off the grid and out of everybody's crosshairs, then proceed accordingly up the mountains. With Hanukkah approaching, how novel would it be to emulate Avraham and not expect gifts in return, unless that's precisely what the Nations want: B'nei Keturah to save the Day, courtesy av B'nei Kedem
