We decided to take up an "open" invitation.
Massive is the word, even more so than Har Nof, because there are parking areas on ground level of the buildings. I hope they're properly ventilated. Real estate values have increased greatly, and more and more building is going on there.
We continued traveling, taking the new road to...
Tekoa. We saw Tekoa, from "alef" to dalet." There's the main, original community, which has been joined by three more, known by the Hebrew letters. So the first is "alef," second is "bet," third is "gimmel" and the fourth is "dalet."
The imposing Herodian dominates the view.
Tekoa has been very successful in attracting the young adults who grew up there. It's a very impressive place.
It was really great seeing old friends.

Tekoa 'Dalet' is so cool. When we went to visit, someone had placed a 'roundabout' traffic sign in the kikar next to the shul. We got a kick out of that humour.
Yes, that was part of our grand tour!
