HOMELESS!!!!

The homeless Disengagement victims are even more homeless, since the Ashkelon hotel housing them is throwing them out. The Disengagement Authority hasn't paid.

Here's the article:

Gush Katif Expellees Being Booted Out of Ashkelon Hotel
14:00 Oct 02, '05 / 28 Elul 5765
(IsraelNN.com) Former Gush Katif residents now residing temporarily in Ashkelon’s Shirat HaYam Hotel were informed on Sunday morning they must vacate the premises by Sunday afternoon at 3:00pm.

Behind the sudden eviction order appears to be non-payment by the Disengagement Authority, resulting in the hotel announcing its eviction decision against the families who in a bit over 24 hours will be ushering in the Rosh Hashanah New Year holiday. Most of the Gush Katif refugees admit if they are thrown out of the hotel, they will spend the holiday in the streets. Responding to the report, MK (National Union) Uri Ariel decried the government’s non-payment, calling the move that comes on the eve of the holiday “non-Jewish.”Ariel added that the Knesset has recently approved the funds required to make payment and there is no justifiable excuse for not paying the hotel.

It's criminal. Read the story about Anita Tucker from Netzer Chazani. http://www.israelnn.com/article.php3?id=5612

It's more than their being anti-religious. Our growth and success frightens them and they're waging war.

Frankly,
it's about time the gush katif settlers started getting militant. They asked (and still ask) a collective 'where were the thousands when we needed them to come to our rescue', but why did anyone think that most of us would risk our lives if they themselves were not resisting at all?

If they refuse to leave, I'll help the cause, if not, then ma la'asot? Fulfill the Masechet Sanhedrin prophecy about border people wanderng around before the end of times?

This kind of behavior (not paying the hotel) is to be expected from the Sharon gov't that expelled them from their land and destroyed their homes to begin with. As long as those from Shirat Hayam don't have rose colored glasses and know not to expect any kind of real help from the gov't and be very pleasantly surprised or suspicious if and when they get help, let them choose to protest the inaction of the gov't. But if they are depending on the gov't, they are in for a lot of aggravation.
