We (Israel Doesn't) Don't Need Obama's Permission!

Dry Bones' classic cartoon hits the spot.  All I can think of is how badly we've done security-wise ever since we began asking and taking advice from America.

We defeated all of the Arab armies which attacked us and tried to prevent our independence in 1948.  That was without any outside help.  Ditto for 1967.  We would have ceased to exist as an independent State of Israel if we had had any "help."  G-d's help and the prayer of World Jewry were all we needed.  Our victory in six days is the greatest and most unexpected and illogical military victory in the history of the world.

When Menachem Begin was Israel's Prime Minister and had us bomb the Iraqi nuclear reactor, he didn't consult and publically yap about it for years beforehand.  That's why it was a successful operation.  The biggest reason I'm against Israel doing anything "similar" against Iran is that it can't be similar, because there is no secrecy and no surprise.  There has been much too much talk about how and why Israel should or shouldn't bomb Iran.

When it comes to security, loose lips are the biggest danger.  Too many of Israel's military leaders, including Defense Minister Ehud Barak, are too connected to the American government and military.  I'm sorry to say this; I just don't trust them.  And what's the "them" as is asked in many "reading comprehensions?"  All of those I just mentioned, the Americans and the Israeli officials.

I think I've written enough for now.  Your reactions are invited in the comments, thanks.
