The security situation in Israel has been rapidly deteriorating ever since Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu did his dramatic turnaround and began to support the idea of a Palestinian sic state. It was a very dumb, foolish and badly thought out move by him.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu assured U.S. President Barack Obama on Monday that he remained committed to a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as they sought to mend ties strained by acrimony over Middle East diplomacy and Iran.Read more at Reutershttp://www.reuters.com/article/2015/11/10/us-israel-usa-meeting-idUSKCN0SY1WJ20151110#Y3UWxRXF2Fdmy0P5.99
Netanyahu, considering himself to be smarter than everyone else, was sure that all of the provisos and conditions he tacked onto that future state would make it impossible for such a thing to ever exist. The only problem is that the world isn't interested in following all of his conditions and details. I've been working in marketing, ok simple sales, for years, and I know that people only see the "half price" on the sign and never the "second item." All the world and the Arabs care about is the "Palestinian State." They consider all those conditions Bibi has tacked on to be irrelevant window-dressing or subject to negotiations.

The Arabs aren't as dumb as Bibi likes to think they are. They know that if Fatah or Hamas will be taking over, and who else could be ruling a Palestinian State?, it's safest to butter up to the terrorist leaders. And how do Arabs and their clans butter up to Fatah and Hamas? They terrorize, attack and murder innocent Jews. And since Arab MKs show support for the terrorists, a high percentage of the Arab terrorist are now Israeli or with papers giving them free access to all of the State of Israel, so Arab terrorism is not limited to Judea and Samaria.

The Israeli government has made it clear that it will eventually be moving out, and that means that it won't offer any protection to peaceful law abiding Arabs. It's as simple as 1 + 1 = 2.

Lame Duck Obama and PM Bibi Meet Again

President Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in 2010.
From what I've been able to glean from the news, both United States President, the lame duck, Barack Hussein Obama and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, are hoping for a polite drama-less summit this week. They went head to head last time Netanyahu was in the states over the "Iran deal," and with elections to replace Obama just a year away and Israel's suffering daily Arab terror attacks, neither of them want negative headlines.

I highly doubt if their personal chemistry can ever improve. Obama and Bibi are so extremely different in both their ideologies, educational backgrounds and mentalities. Obama was raised by his extreme, far-Left mother, who even gave him foreign, rather than American education and culture. Netanyahu comes from Israel's Right; his father, Professor Benzion Netanyahu PHD, was a world renown historian who taught in prestigious universities around the world and raised his sons to be IDF heros. It's possible that Bibi had more years of mainland American education than Obama did. Even more than political ideology, there's a frequent phenomenon I've noticed here in Israel which can be seen in the bad chemistry between Bibi and Obama. American and Israeli males are very different and can have serious trouble establishing friendships.

There's also a lot of personal anger between Netanyahu and Obama. The Americans illegally and immorally funded and supported the last Knesset campaign against Bibi, the V15, which had a slogan/motto of "anyone but Bibi."
The Obama administration is using taxpayer dollars to fund a radical anti-Israel group that aims to drive Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from office in March parliamentary elections.
And the U.S.-based group receiving the U.S. government money, OneVoice International, in turn is working with V15, an "independent grassroots movement" in Israel, according to Ha'aretz. V15's unofficial motto is said to be "anyone but Bibi," a reference that includes the prime minister's nickname. (Frontpagemag)
It's no secret that Netanyahu has many supporters and long-time friends in the Republican Party, which continuously irks Obama, but nothing that Bibi has ever done can be compared to the immoral, and probably illegal, V15.

According to the Jerusalem Post, the aim of this upcoming meeting is "common ground." So, no doubt both Obama and Netanyahu will try to follow whatever script that has been planned in advance, or they would not be meeting at all.

Obama, more than a decade younger than Netanyahu, is most probably looking forward to his forced by law early retirement, while there doesn't seem like a dignified and respectable way for Bibi to leave office in the near future.

Temple Mount, Essence of Jewish Rights

Beit HaMikdash, Jewish Holy Temple on Temple Mount
One does not need to be a PHD in World History to know that Judaism predates both Christianity and Islam and that Islam is the baby of the three. That's why the only fuel to the nonexistent denials to the rantings of Arab preachers, politicians etc that the Temple Mount is originally theirs must be antisemitism, pure hatred of Jews and Israelis.
The preacher, Mohammed Salim, declared that the compound belongs solely to Muslims, claiming that the proof is in its name “Al-Aqsa” (lit. the extreme). In light of this “fact”, claimed Salim, the question is “how the Jews are lying about their sovereignty and claim that the Temple stood on this mountain?”
Salim stressed that the Muslims are the sole owners of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and that praying in it is the right of Muslims. Control of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the entry of Muslims is a matter of their own and no one has the authority to intervene but Muslims, said he added. (Arutz 7)

Unfortunately not enough Jews and Israelis really care about history and our rights to the Temple Mount and even the Land of Israel. And they don't listen carefully to what our Arab enemies are saying. The Arabs are speaking very clearly of their ultimate aim, which is our destruction and banishment, Gd forbid.

Jews who cooperate with those who ban Jews from visiting and praying on the Temple Mount are in essence also lending a hand in belittling our rights to the Land of Israel and weaken the legitimacy of the State of Israel. These two issues are actually one. That is because the Temple Mount is the essence of the Jewish Religion, which is the core of Zionism and Jewish History.

Amputating Jerusalem or parts of it from the State of Israel will only facilitate destruction, Gd forbid. The pre-June, 1967 Israel was a poor and backwards country. If we had lost the Six Days War, the country would have been destroyed. Our victory and subsequent growth has been miraculous and phenomenal, unprecedented in World History.

The Six Days War victory was without any human ally; no country helped Israel in any way. The United Nations assisted Egypt by withdrawing the so-called "peacekeeping forces," and the United States stood on the sidelines with all other countries.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu should remember that as well as I do; we are the same age. And therefore he should make it clear to Obama that we owe the United States nothing. The USA should be apologizing to Israel for supporting our enemies. Bibi must renege on his support for "two states." There must never be a Palestinian State; it would destroy the State of Israel, Gd forbid.

Book Review: Lessons in Leadership by Rabbi Jonathan Sacks

“Lessons in Leadership,” the recent Parshat Shavua book by Rabbi Jonathan Sacks, former Chief Rabbi of the United Hebrew Congregations of the British Commonwealth, gives some amazingly interesting short lessons about the weekly Torah readings.

This is the perfect book for those who either just want to learn just a short message about the weekly Torah Portion or want to add something interesting and impressive at the table or a meeting. I like the fact that Rabbi Sacks does not just rely on the usual rabbinic sources and examples. He uses current events and modern history, like in Parshat Toldot, when to explain the intricacies of good communications he writes about the famous standoff between Kennedy and Khrushchev. Rabbi Sacks gives some little-known background information about how that dangerous time ended without war.

For Parshat Tetzaveh, Rabbi Sacks goes into detail explaining the various types of governments in Biblical times and the roles of the priests and the prophets contrasting them to the Mesopotamian and Egyptian systems of the same time period.

I particularly enjoy how Rabbi Sacks integrates his broad general knowledge into the very traditional genre of Parshat Shavua books without compromising his rabbinic standards.

Lessons in Leadership can be purchased either as a regular hard-covered book or kindle through Maggid or many other bookseller/sites.

Terror attack Sha'ar Binyamin

No, Baruch Hashem, thank Gd I wasn't there at all today, and to be honest the Arab terror attack wasn't at the Rami Levy section of Sha'ar Binyamin.

It was close to the bus stop and just before the building that has the opticians, pharmacy, fitness place, sick fund etc. To give you a better idea of the place, remember I work there, Yafiz-Rami Levy, there is a guard set-up at the entrance of Sha'ar Binyamin, but he checks mostly vehicles. The Yafiz-Rami Levy stores are gated with their own security detail including "plain-clothes" staff.

Shabbat is soon. Must signout.

Ran Baratz Lesson: Facebook Never Forgets

A few weeks ago, I was pretty surprised to see a very public job ad "wanted" for someone to be Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's top Media Advisor. I had figured that those sort of jobs were filled in a less public way. For a nano-second or more, I even thought of sending in my name but knew that even if I was a generation younger that sort of life was not for me, nor would I have a chance in Hell to be chosen.

And now...
Lots of news all over about the lucky guy who was chosen for the job, Ran Baratz who is now discovering that in all his expertise about social media, he left out or ignored the main truth, that facebook and the internet never forget.

As soon as he was given the good news of his appointment and the word got out, everyone near and far began their "googling" and discovered that Baratz had been pretty blunt about his opinions on all sorts of issues and public personalities, both Israeli and foreign.
'Kerry's mental age doesn't exceed that of a 12-year-old,' Netanyahu's new media czar wrote (Jerusalem Post)
Baratz recently said on his Facebook page that the response of Barack Obama to the Israeli prime minister’s speech to the US Congress this year was an example of “modern antisemitism in liberal western states”. (The Guardian)
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel indicated Thursday night that he was reconsidering his choice for public diplomacy chief after a furor over the nominee’s critiques of public officials, including a suggestion that President Obama was anti-Semitic and Secretary of State John Kerry had the intellect of a preteenager. (NY Times)
Now, I find nothing offensive or shocking about any of Baratz's statements. If anything he's moderate compared to me. And I don't know if he's going to lose that new job. But I really hate to think that if he ends up keeping it, he ends up overcompensating to the Left.

"Suspected," "Allegedly," Media Idiocy Against Israel!

Here are a few of recent headlines in the Jerusalem Post:
Yahoo news
Border Police officer critically wounded in suspected car ramming attack near Hebron
Israeli man allegedly attacked by Sudanese Muslim on flight to Ethiopia
Masked assailant reportedly stabs off-duty Hatzolah worker in New York
The emphasis (bold and italics) is mine.

Honestly, I don't understand these wishy-washy adverbs used to cast doubt on simple to prove facts.
French Hill, Givat Hamivtar, Jerusalem
location of "my" Arab terror attack.
I was injured along with about twenty others,
and a woman was murdered.
  • For close to twenty years, Arab terrorists have used their cars/vehicles as weapons to kill, maim, injure and terrorize innocent Israelis. I know this too well, since I was injured in the very first one just under twenty years ago. After being attacked, David Bar Illan, who was then Editor-in-Chief of the Jerusalem Post, had me interviewed, posted an op-ed I wrote about it and used my information in a double-long editorial supporting my claim, later verified by the police, that it was a terror attack. Recently this method has become very popular  for Arab terrorists attacking Jews. It offers them protection they won't get as suicide bombers, and is much less intimate than stabbing.
  • There were many witnesses of the attack on Arik Zanuda, an Israeli on the flight from Chad to Addis Ababa, so why cast doubt on the story by using the word "allegedly?"
  • With pictures of the stabbed Hatzolah worker David Katz, and the simple fact that the article even says that Katz is hospitalized for stab wounds, why is the Jerusalem Post using the phrase "reportedly stabbed?" He was stabbed.
The Jerusalem Post is editorializing to cast doubt on the attacks on Jews, whether terror attacks here in Israel or attacks on Jews abroad. The vocabulary it uses gives the impression that there is a reasonable uncertainty as to whether or not the attacks actually took place.

It's very hard to get accurate unbiased news!

Executing Arab Terrorists on The Spot, Good or Bad?

There has been a lot of anger, especially concerning terror attacks in the past when police and security only "shot to stop" the Arab terrorists caught in the act of murder or attempted murder. Most Israelis couldn't understand why the various security forces didn't just kill/execute them and save us the expense and manpower for medical care and after that housing them in jail and then all the expenses of trials which give the terrorists chances to promote their anti-Israel agenda.

And by killing them they can't be used in "trades." Too many deadly Arab terrorists now walk free after getting world class medical treatment, well-publicized trials and then since even when convicted there's no death penalty in Israel, the convicted Arab terrorists are then traded for hapless Israelis, civilians and soldiers captured by other terrorists. Quite a few of those terrorist just rejoin the terror against Israelis.

At some of the more recent terror attacks, the terrorists were executed on the spot, which at least guarantees that they won't be able to kill or attempt to kill again. And that's besides all of the other things I just wrote.

Jewish morality comes from the Bible, and in the Bible it says that a murder must be killed.

There are those calling the killing of a terrorist in action a "lynch." And there have been recent attacks in which the police have ended up protecting the terrorist. I'm not saying that a man down should be beaten to death. What I'm saying is that there is nothing wrong in shooting a terrorist to kill.

The reason I don't like the use of the word lynch here is because we have been using to to describe when Arabs have attacked and/or murdered Jews who inadvertently entered Arab areas/neighborhoods/towns.

Ramalla lynch of Jews by Arabs

IDF Rescues US Jews from Arab Lynch Mob in HevronFive men were in a car that strayed into Arab Hevron and attacked by a mob with firebombs. Two suffered moderate to light injuries.
As I've written many times, there is a war going on. The Arabs want us dead and gone, and we must fight it and defeat our enemies. This is no game, and the Arabs have made their goal very clear. We must take appropriate action!

When someone goes out to war, they expect that they can die, so when an Arab terrorist goes out to kill/murder Jews, they expect to die, and there is nothing wrong in executing them.

Arab Terrorists Widen Their Field of Attack

Last night a friend in the travel (in Israel) business mentioned how impossible it is to find hotel rooms in Netanya, "since it's a place that hasn't been hit by Arab terrorism." I guess that was the "eyin haraa" that broke that record.
Terrorist shot after stabbing elderly man in Netanya (Jerusalem Post)
Stabbing in Netanya; One injured, terrorist neutralized
71 year-old man seriously wounded in third stabbing of the day.
The attack unfolded at approximately 5:50 pm local time, when the terrorist stabbed the man on Tachkemoni Street, off of Binyamin Blvd.
Magen David Adom (MDA) medics treated the man for stab wounds to his upper body and transferred him to Laniado Hospital, where he is listed in serious condition. Channel 10 has updated his condition to critical.
The terrorist, a 22 year-old Palestinian Arab resident of Tulkarm in northern Samaria (directly east of Netanya - ed.), was shot and neutralized at the scene and is also seriously injured. (Arutz 7)

And, also for the first time, there was an Arab terror attack in Rishon Letzion. Obviously, no place is immune from terror, and the Arabs aim for the destruction of the entire State of Israel Gd forbid.

From the scene of Monday afternoon’s stabbing attack in Rishon LeZion. Photo: eyewitness cellphone camera.
(Algemeiner)
Palestinian assailant stabs three people in Rishon Lezion terror attack
In Rishon Lezion, a Palestinian man from Hebron stabbed three Israelis – including an 80-year-old woman late in the afternoon.
The assailant, described by police as a 19-year-old man from Hebron, stabbed a passenger on a bus in Rishon as it reached the corner of Herzl and Tarmav Street, in a central part of the city packed with people.
The terrorist then stabbed another victim on the sidewalk, police said, before stabbing a third victim and fleeing into several stores. (Jerusalem Post)
After over two months of random, meaning it could happen anyplace and anytime, Arab terror attacks, life is slowly returning to "normal" in Israel. There's a limit as to how long Israelis can stay home, especially when home sometimes doesn't seem any safer than outside.

The vast majority of Israelis, push comes to shove, prefer that the Arab terrorist get killed/executed in action to save our tax money from healing him/her in the hospital and to prevent the bewildering and fokokt theatre of the absurd when they are tried as ordinary criminals. Also, if the potential terrorists and their families realize that any attack would be suicide, some may be deterred from trying.

And the bodies of the terrorists must be held by Israel until all Israelis, alive and dead, are returned. Mother of missing soldier slams return of terrorists' bodies. We must think first of ourselves and not worry about the feelings and dignity of our enemies!!!

Dividing Jerusalem Again Will Not Stop Arab Terrorism!

Trying to bottle up Arab terrorists as an "independent city within a city" will not stop Arab terrorism!

Bus Was Target of Terror Attack (ABC News)
'Dividing capital into Arab and Jewish municipalities is the only way to end bloodshed'

Indicating that physically dividing the capital would be impractical, if not impossible, Margalit argued that a “functional division” must be implemented through the creation of two autonomous Arab and Jewish municipalities.
“It’s impossible to physically divide the city,” he said. “Instead of walls, the idea is to create Palestinian neighborhoods that will become part of the ‘Palestinian Municipality of Jerusalem,’ and Jewish neighborhoods will remain the Israeli Municipality of Jerusalem.
“So, in one [physically] united city, there will be two municipalities, and the same city will become the capital of two nations.” (Jerusalem Post)
If anything it will only make the situation worse. Also, it will just strengthen the terrorists by proving to the Arabs that terror pays. Giving the Arabs status as rulers over parts of Jerusalem goes against every principle for a strong, safe and united Israel.

Arabs don't "resort to terrorism." Their culture is violent, and job and education status are not the crucial factors in whether or not someone will be a terrorist. This is what any intelligent objective person should learn from those Arabs who perpetrate terror attacks in recent years. If anything, the more comfortable and successful Arabs are the most vicious terrorists, and that is why we are seeing younger and younger Arabs joining their ranks.

Making Arabs responsible for their own garbage collection, sewer repairs etc. will not keep them from attacking innocent Jews. It will only weaken Israel's international status and encourage the Arabs to attack us even more.

Israel Must Stop Underestimating the Arab Enemy!

Too many Israelis, including Prime Minister Binyamin Bibi Netanyahu, are dangerously underestimating the Arab terrorist enemy that is called "Palestine," sic. There was a time when they were weak and foolish, and nobody worth their salt took them seriously. But times have long changed. Their weapons are professional and deadly. It's not just the well aimed (has there been training?) knife attacks, bombings, shootings, rocket attacks and more.

from the Jerusalem Post

WATCH: Hamas flaunts 'elite unit' in new propaganda video
Fighters in latest Hamas propaganda video can be seen storming would-be IDF posts, utilizing tunnels, handling would-be hostage.

But even mainstream public figures in non-Muslim countries propagate all sorts of lies about Israel:
British MP: Israel Fabricated Knife Attack Stories, Conservative Party Influenced By ‘Jewish Money’Labour MP Sir Gerald Kaufman has allegedly accused Israel of fabricating some recent stories about knife attacks against Jews in Israel, and claimed the Conservative party is influenced by “Jewish money,” in a speech at a pro-Palestine event at Parliament.
As reported by The Jewish Chronicle, Kaufman, MP for Manchester Gorton and Father of the House, told the audience at a Palestine Return Centre event that the Government has become more pro-Israel in recent years due to donations from Jewish groups.
“It’s Jewish money, Jewish donations to the Conservative Party – as in the general election in May – support from The Jewish Chronicle, all of those things, bias the Conservatives,” he said.
“There is now a big group of Conservative members of Parliament who are pro-Israel whatever government does and they are not interested in what Israel, in what the Israeli government does.”
He added: “They’re not interested in the fact that Palestinians are living a repressed life, and are liable to be shot at any time. In the last few days alone the Israelis have murdered 52 Palestinians and nobody pays attention and this government doesn’t care.” (complete article Mint Press News)
Ha'aretz

I know that I've said this before.
  • We have no allies.
  • The Arabs tell the truth when they say that they are out to destroy the State of Israel!
If we don't take these things seriously then we will only be in greater danger, Gd forbid!
