Bibi's buckling under United States pressure and threats. Jerusalem building plans are being hidden under the rug, as if they were pornographic magazines in some religious school.
Of course the Arab terrorists aka the "Palestinians," sic, have no compunctions about celebrating their cruelty. Fatah officials celebrated popular inauguration of terrorist square and PA TV honors anniversary of terror attack with interview of terrorist's sister. Don't expect virulent condemnation from the Americans. The United States policy is very one-sided, and they aren't sided with Israel.
As far as I'm concerned this is all Israel's fault. Israel's weakness, cooperation with the United States and pathologically courting world approval has only brought more and more pressure. There's something very sick in the Israeli psyche and it is worst in government officials, ministers and Knesset Members.

Yes. Just look at how much influence feet stomping, cat calling and teeth gnashing have on Netanyahu from the great and powerful Wizard of Oz - er - opposition.
I don't see Manhigut Yehudit and moshe feiglin doing any better.
actually, i think it is a good idea to keep a low profile [not deliberately hiding, being deceitful, etc.] about building. why be in-your-face to your most important ally?

How can they, when loyal Jews do nothing better than whining from the treetops and not joining the battle.
Hint.
a, if America's Israel's "most important ally" we're in really bad shape, and I'd rather do without.
Shy, where's the leadership?
America is exacerbating this crisis, because Obama needs it right now. He and the people surrounding him are seen as leading a failed administration. If he can get Netanyahu to buckle and get the "peace process" on track, then it will be a badly needed shot in the arm for his presidency.
If, by some miracle, Netanyahu is able to hold firm and avert this crisis - without concessions -
then he will get kudos from both the left and right of the Israeli
political spectrum.
the idea that America is "insulted" by all of this is an interesting development. Since when did the U.S.A. become and "honor-shame society" (see Richard Landes at the Augeanstables.com for an explanation). I guess Islamic thinking and culture is very much in vogue now.

1. Are you asking about Katzeleh? :)
2. How can you lead when the people don't get behind you?
3. MY people are constantly working fervently around the clock behind the scenes to move and coordinate Knesset members from numerous parties to back the right issues and vote down the wrong ones. I'm a first-hand witness to many of their activities.
Shy, "behind the scenes" is not the best place to find followers.
Ellen, you're right about the wording, the "insult." I think it's an Obama emotion. He's very self-centered, the type to take things personally.

Shy, it's hopeless. I'm an awful follower, just can't take orders.
