No, not mine. But Irving Moskowitz, the very generous American Jew, has just announced his support for Uzi Landau, and his support is green, like in money. I don't know if that would be enough, since politics isn't all about money. And I have a problem with too many "experts," "paid public relations professionals" running political campaigns. It's not a matter of slick; it's a matter of irresponsible. It also shows a lack of imagination and confidence on the part of the candidate him/herself.
But the pragmatic in me says that I have to make peace with the fact that the chance of Arye Eldad's Moledet Party getting enough seats to choose the Prime Minister is pretty slim. Also, Arye, at present, isn't even "number one" in Moledet. I'll still support him, but I must pay careful attention to the Likud.
Besides Moskowitz's money, Uzi needs people to support him, and there's one person in the Likud who should stop his own private campaign and join Uzi. That's Moshe Feiglin. Uzi is an individual, ok with good yichus, in the Likud, while Feiglin has a faction and is a good organizer and has imagination and daring; (ok now it's time to test his ego.) These are all things lacking in Uzi.
G-d willing, they'll find a way to work together, and we'll all work together for the good of Am Yisrael and Medinat Yisrael.
Shabbat Shalom

When Moshe Feiglin says that Bibi Netanyahu would be the same sort of Prime Minister as Arik Sharon, I believe him. When Moshe Feiglin says that Uzi Landau would be the same sort of Prime Minister as Arik Sharon and Bibi Netanyahu, I believe him.
Maybe Feiglin will succeed in what he's trying to do and maybe he'll fail. But what he's doing is totally different from what Landau is doing. One is running to become head of Likud; the other is trying to use Likud as a springboard to bring a new kind of leadership to the country.
yes, no
Don't for get that Feiglin is competing with Bibi and Uzi, which colors what he's saying. We've seen Bibi and Sharon as PM; enough said about that.
Uzi is running for PM now, no less than Feiglin. Feiglin will not succeed in taking over the lIkud. If he really wants to make a lasting improvement and show that he's a capable politician, he has to work with the better people in the Likud, like Uzi.
Shavuah tov Batya,
One of the first lessons we already can learn from the expulsion is that we do not trust non-religious leaders. Uzi Landau is no Aryeh Eldad (both Dr.s though) and Uzi Landau supports 'land for piece'. While I don't support Feiglin, he efforts are valid and valiant at the same time. Bibi is a liar and a fake, we now that beyond a doubt.
The time has come for the religious to unite and run a candidate. It might not be 'reali', but at least it means we do not depend on the secular anymore. In that sense, this disengagement from 'secular' politicians should be made now. There is absolutely no reason to join 'coalitions' with parties who will screw you at the first chance. Why keep making mistakes over and over?
Josh, can you get back to me with your proof about Uzi supporting "land for piece of..."
Moshe Feiglin has given a very good reason why he's not going to end his campaign: no one would take him seriously if he does. He would be considered a stalking horse today had he thrown in the towel back in 2003. Incidentally, for those who don't know, a stalking horse is, according to dictionary.com, " A sham candidate put forward to conceal the candidacy of another or to divide the opposition."
I support him and encourage to continue running until people give up on secular leaders altogether.
