Deja Vous
Wasn't one of the reasons that the world Jewry wanted a Jewish state so that there would be a refuge for Jews?
Now, what's happening?
Jews are being threatened with deportation...By the Jewish State.
and communities, cities etc are refusing to let the Jewish (G-d forbid it should really happen) refugees enter...
just like in the 1930's and until the establishment of the State of Israel.
But now it is happening here in Israel. The state is destroying Jewish communities and the same state, its cities and communities and Environment Ministry is planning on turning away (G-d forbid it should really happen) Jewish-Israeli refugees.

You must remember that the individual soldiers are still our sons, brothers, husbands, neighbors, friends etc.
They haven't made the decisions, but at the crucial time they should just show up and refuse.
Challilah vchas!
The soldiers in the Israeli Defence Forces are us! The IDF is a "people's" army. Less than 5% are full-time employees that get a salary - make a career out of serving.
Unfortunately I cannot say the same thing abbout those who serve in the police. As reports begin collecting from Police precents throughout the country, it becomes more and more obvious that the Israeli Police have received instructions to use violence and the intimidation of violence and incarceration in order to stifle legitimate political protest.
Next time you need a police officer, make certain to hide your Tzitiot and hide your Kippa - you are more likely to receive assistance and less likely to be the target of abuse!
