Bibi could do it himself, if he cared.
Gilad Erdan is now Bibi's frontman and a minister. Will Tzippi H learn to play the system like him, or will she be hidden? Her mother was on TV recently saying the equivilant of:
"MK, shemkay, I'd prefer her getting married and having kids."Batyahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11246929075812590204noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7040911.post-60575539978154575372009-04-03T04:02:00.000+03:002009-04-03T04:02:00.000+03:00Shalom!Shy Guy, in the past two elections I waited...Shalom!
Shy Guy, in the past two elections I waited in line for hours and voted for Feiglin, and the others who were worth my vote. Being as none of them received enough votes from other people to reach realistic places in the Likud, the Likud didn't get my vote. You say that the Likud is more powerful that the NU. You're correct. The Likud is powerful, but it's also dangerous because none of it's current MK's has the good of Israel as a top priority. Well maybe Tzipi, (sorry I can't remember how to spell her last name.) who wouldn't shake that reporter's hand. But she's young and will probably end up like Feiglin: not affecting the policies of the Likud. How can you say that Manhigut Yehudit would have any influence within the Likud? Feiglin couldn't even keep his no. 20 slot because of internal Likud politics.
HadassaHadassa DeYounghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00253596063646903000noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7040911.post-55778388026492246662009-04-02T18:40:00.000+03:002009-04-02T18:40:00.000+03:00Shy, my historical perspective comes from my being...Shy, my historical perspective comes from my being here almost 40 years. We joined Cherut, the basis of Likud in the fall of 1970. It was the out in Right field, only brought into the cabinet for the 6 Days War, considered more extreme than NU is considered today.
Even after the almost loss in 1973 Yom Kippur War, Labor was reelected. It took another 3 1/2 years for Begin to have a chance to form a government. And then what did he do? He gave Sadat the Sinai and destroyed Jewish towns and paid off their residents.

Ever since, I don't vote Likud. Likud never admitted that the Pandora's Box that decision opened has brought us nothing but death, terrorism and war.

Shy, just call me an old lady with a good memory from the past. You will never change my mind about it.Batyahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09402874037427009327noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7040911.post-49266994084938239712009-04-02T15:48:00.000+03:002009-04-02T15:48:00.000+03:00Let me fix that link:A Brief Analysis of Israel's ...Let me fix that link:

A Brief Analysis of Israel's Elections by Moshe FeiglinAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7040911.post-60614956741657307132009-04-02T15:46:00.000+03:002009-04-02T15:46:00.000+03:00Here's an analysis, which shows the correlation be...Here's an analysis, which shows the correlation between Netanyahu's strongarm antics and the loss of Likud supporters to others, Lieberman included:

http://www.jewishisrael.org/eng_contents/update/5769/6926.htm

Good luck, little ants. 60 years of being stepped on. Bibi lost votes to Lieberman, because Lieberman campaigned to the Right, while Bibi went Center-Left and played dirty tricks against the Moshe's Feiglin and Muskal.

That's the pragmatic truth. You Feiglin guys are the dreamers. Make fun of the "little ant," but out of the coalition, we have a chance to "move that rubber tree plant."Batyahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09402874037427009327noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7040911.post-19460620305229939442009-04-02T07:30:00.000+03:002009-04-02T07:30:00.000+03:00Hadassa,How many more decades does the loyal Israe...Hadassa,

How many more decades does the loyal Israel public wish to sit uselessly in opposition, making no inroads other than on the patch of Knesset carpet they get to stomp their feet on in perpetual frustration?

Manhigut can't become significant because people like yourselves and Batya, who want the same goals as Moshe Feiglin keep on saying that they'll wait for Manhigut's success and then they'll consider it.

We came within a milimeter of having Livni for prime minister thanks to the abandonment of Likudnik votes going to splinters like NU, BY and to Lieberman? Are you happy to have him? Do you realize what an ambissionist he is?

Yes, sing songs and chose a theme tune. That's all your votes are good for. Enjoy your high.

Had Israel loyalists voted en-masse for the Likud, the opposition to the detsruction of this country would have come from within the Likud itself, with influence on the party's central commitee and decision making aparatus, affecting both short and long term decisions.

Now you have nothing but a theme song. Until Manhigut Yehudit becomes a significant part of the Likud, isn't voting for the Likud dangerous for Israel because none of the other members have the vision or the will to form a coalition that will strengthen Israel? How does voting for Likud with Bibi at the head prevent a situation where "leaders slip away and ruin the country"? As far as being isolated is concerned, what's preferable, joining coalitions and contributing to the destruction of Israel (spiritual and physical) as the NRP/Jewish Home does or staying out the coalition and not having a part in the destruction?
HadassaHadassa DeYounghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00253596063646903000noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7040911.post-17570067453095217222009-04-01T15:36:00.000+03:002009-04-01T15:36:00.000+03:00Shy, we'll always disagree on this I'm afraid.
