True Torah is the Written & Oral Laws, all given at Sinai. Rambam's 13 principles - believing in all of Moshe's Torah m'Sinai. Ask your Rav, and he will tell you that Osnat was Yosef's niece and he married her. Also, about Yocheved & her daughter, being the midwives, and using the other names. Torah is not just a history book; it is the Guide to Jewish life and all the mysteries are within it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7040911.post-82303764759056222582013-11-01T05:49:10.238+02:002013-11-01T05:49:10.238+02:00a, interesting

But, as far as Osnat is concerned, our sages (Chazal) tell us that she was really Yosef Hatzadik's niece. She was the product of the evil perpetrated on Dina, Yaakov's daughter, and he sent her down to Egypt with an amulet for protection. She was adopted by Potiphar and his wife, because they were childless. (Our sages say that Potiphar was a eunuch). When Joseph became the viceroy of Egypt, he saw the amulet that Osnat(that's why she has that name-product of rape)wore and knew immediately that it was one that his father had given her. Also, the story of Shifrah and Puah, the midwives were really Yocheved and Miriam. Jael was apparently beautiful, because merely hearing her voice would cause men to recall her and would arouse their lust (BT Megillah 15a). etcAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7040911.post-36972791251911836422013-10-30T21:42:35.373+02:002013-10-30T21:42:35.373+02:00Norman F: Beautifully stated and so, so true.

There's nothing more to add, except to say that by the State releasing murderers, they are proving who they really are, not cowards so much, but traitors who want the destruction of a Jewish Israel and that is why there is a war against the religious Jews of all stripes now taking place in Israel. 'They want to be like the nations, at any cost'. Our "leaders" should jump off cliffs with no rope, or go out to the deep sea without life jackets. If they want all Jews to die - as surely it seems - they should go first and be a good example.

There. My blood pressure feels lower already. But not enough:

I really think they want us all to die, but they're too cowardly to kill us openly themselves; so, they've come up with a way for the arabs to do it for them, with words that disguise their intentions - "we really, REALLY want peace, so we'll release all the prisoners you want. Just give the word." In so many words.

I hope all the guys on your block are good shots. You'll need 'em, along with all our prayers.

G-d bless you and protect you all in Shiloh, along with all of us in Israel.

CDG, YerushalayimAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
