Iran "Deal" Worse Than Munich Agreement

For many, many thinking and remembering people all over the world, the Obama-Kerry USA brokered Iran "deal" is totally incomprehensible. You don't have to take out a magnifying glass to look at the small print to see that it does not stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons and even pays them very generously at the same time.

And the rhetoric from Iran is still anti-American, but the Obama bulldozer has managed to push that awful deal through the Senate.
A disapproval resolution for the agreement fell two votes short of the 60 needed to move forward as most Democratic and independent senators banded together against it. (Yahoo)

Close doesn't count.

As the Jewish Year, 5775, grows to a close, the world is looking like a more and more dangerous place.

Israel must grow up!

There is no Great Father across the ocean waiting to save it.

As Rosh Hashana approaches, Israel must trust in G-d and take into its own hands its destiny.

While the Iran nuclear deal is indeed a disaster, it has also freed Israel from its illusions about America.

In the New Year ahead, its time for the Jewish people and their state to move forward with open eyes and determined courage, prepared for the future.

Norman, Rivlin versus Netanyahu shows that Israel hasn't "freed Israel from its illusions about America."

Whether we are freed from the illusion or not we can't depend on the USA; we never could. It is simply becoming clearer. But people are often more willing to live in a lie than take the measures they need to deal with a painful truth; the world doesn't nor has it ever cared about Jews as human beings. (Individuals might, I'm speaking globally, literally, here).

We have Hashem; that's where our dependency lies.

Maybe Rivlin and some still think that way.

I would say the fight over the Iran nuclear deal was illuminating and showed the Democrats are out of touch with the American people.

Israel's future in the end will be decided less by Iran and more by the outcome of the struggle between the Israelis and the Jews.

May the Jews win and may G-d be with them!

Norman, do you consider it a predictor for the elections for president there? Will the usual Democratic voters go to a Republican or not vote at all?

Depends on who is nominated.

All one can say at this point in time is that Obama has poisoned the political waters so much its hard to imagine a Democrat getting that third Obama term.

We'll see.
