Has the Israeli Electorate Really Gone Loony Left?

I've been pretty shocked to see the latest polls, check Jeremy's site, which show the Left, Herzog-Livni, Lapid plus Arabs, pulling ahead of Likud and Bennett's Bayit Yehudi.
Dialog/Haaretz Poll: Zionist Union 24, Likud 21, The Joint (Arab) List 13, Yesh Atid 12, Bayit Yehudi 11, Kulanu 11, Shas 7

Panels/Maariv-103 FM Poll: Zionist Union 24, Lkud 21, Yesh Atid 13, The Joint Arab List 13, Bayit Yehudi 12, Kulanu 9
Here in New York, everyone wants Bibi and trusts Bibi and wishes he was running the White House.

I've only been in the states less than two weeks, what has been happening? Has the Israeli media really succeeded in brainwashing the public that Bibi-Likud is so awful? He's not perfect, but he's a lot better than Herzog-Livni. Watch Latma. The Herzog skit is best.

Hi
First, not everybody in NY wants Bibi as prime minister and certainly not in the White House.
Second, Israeli, like any person, think about his daily life when going to vote. Israel has big socio economical problems :cost of life, housing, high level of poverty, rise of racism. And Israeli knows life with Bibi and saw those problems were not solved, so they think that with Herzog it will change, even if they understand that security and fight of terrorism are important subjects.
Thats why 45% say that Bibi should be prime minister against 36% for Herzog. But few weeks ago a poll showed that 64% of Israeli don't want Bibi as Prime minister.
So from a point if view of daily life, they don't want Bibi, but for security and fight against terrorism, they don't see who could replace him.

If people weren't stupid, why would this world be in the mess it's in!
Not so Good, or evil - usually the latter is chosen. Forget about 'good' altogether - that is, until Moshiach is here.

A poll this morning showed Herzog up to 26 mandates. We don't know as the polls have been very inaccurate in the past. At anyrate, if he wins, can he form a coalition and it also seems that Bibi will still be able to form a coalition. With rumors afloat that Bibi and Herzog have cut a deal, we will have to wait and see. At anyrate, I don't believe Bibi and think that after the elections Jews will be explelled from parts of the country. Something is not right here.

Batya, re reliability of polls, remember: DEWEY DEFEATS TRUMAN!

I truly hope the polls are wrong.
Polls that ask whom they want for PM give Bibi more than any other.

Honestly, Bibi is no good. He would be a good foreign minister. But the thought of the looney left getting is will be a nightmare for Jews in Judea and Samaria.

I certainly do not wish Bibi was in the White House, and either do my Jewish family members in NYC, Great Neck, Huntington, Oyster Bay, Massapequa, Amagansett, to name only a few cities/towns.

Shiloh, Bibi isn't perfect but better than most.

Lorri, right, he doesn't belong in the White House, but is he worse than Obama?
