The Real Danger to Israel

It seems like Arab terrorism against Israelis, Jews and non-Jews alike considering that one of the recent victims was a Druse, has again become a daily occurrence.

The IDF soldier, Almog Shiloni, who was stabbed by an Arab terrorist in Tel Aviv earlier today has succumbed to his wounds.
The attack happened around 12:15 PM on the bridge near the train station entrance on Hagana Street.
The terrorist from Shechem (Nablus) tried to steal the soldier’s weapon. During the altercation, he stabbed the soldier multiple times. (complete article n Jewish Press)

Yesterday there were two fatal attacks, a stabbing in Tel Aviv and a stabbing in Gush Etzion. Yes, Tel Aviv isn't immune to Arab terrorism. As I have said many times, the Arab Terrorists aka Palestinian Authority want Tel Aviv more than they want Shiloh. Stabbing is a much more personal type of killing than the recent fad of running over innocent people at crosswalks and bus stops.

As awful and dangerous as these Arab terrorists and their terrorism are, they aren't the cause of the problem to the State of Israel. They are the symptom.

The cause is the misguided Israeli "peace ideology," the claim that under the right circumstances, the right "deal" we can, in exchange for Land liberated in the 1967 Six Days War, make peace  with the Arabs.

The nicer we get, the more we offer the Arabs the more violent and dangerous they become. There won't be peace for us until we truly practice "zero tolerance" for all levels of violence against Jews and we state without any weakness that there will never be a Palestinian State and the level of autonomy the Arabs now enjoy will be reduced.

There must be automatic death penalty for all Arab terrorists and security forces must execute terrorists on the spot. Do not let them live and enjoy legal rights, education, medical care, room and board (prison) paid for by Israeli citizens.

  • The State of Israel must expel all the ambassadors of countries that have recognized Palestine.
  • And we must transfer our embassies from capital cities of all countries that don't recognize Jerusalem as our capital.
Only simple reactions like these will show that we mean business. And only policies like I've listed will bring us true peace.

My husband made aliya from Morocco at age 14. He always said that Westerners do NOT "get"the Arab mentality. They see restraint and 'giving over' land as weakness, not strength as we do. Therefore, we should rethink our actions and act accordingly with a TOUGH RESPONSE to terror and the HE*L with what the world thinks! They despise and criticise us anyway, so WHO are we kidding?? Let's worry about our citizens instead of what the world thinks for a change!!

I agree completely. But add to that that the death penalty for terror should include active assistance to terror attacks such as preparing bombs or other weapons, driving terrorists to locations to commit acts of terror, or willfully obstructing traffic in order to prevent the movement of emergency vehicles to treat victims. Security forces should be authorized to fire into the crowd, shooting to kill. Terrorist funerals and other public celebrations should be subject to aerial bombing with intent to cause maximum casualties. Terrorists captured alive should be executed by a woman executioner (my wife volunteers), the bodies burned in pig fat, and the ashes scattered by plane with leaflets over Arab population areas. Needless to say there should be encouragement of emigration. If the US UN EU don't like it, they can go straight to hell. They complain about things we never did anyway. We might as well do them already. Also terrorist sympathizer/agitators who come to cause trouble should know that their lives are directly at risk and that those who kill them will not be punished but commended.

Esther, goyish, thanks for the words of wisdom. You both have blogging rights here. I'd like to see more posts from you both.

Agree totally with your suggestions Batya and those of the commenters were great. The leadership has sold its soul to the PTB (powers).

a, thanks, we have to keep pushing for true wisdom and not be afraid to tell the truth.

I agree with all of the above. I just learned the following verse in Sefer Shmuel II (12:31)
Both Abarbanel & Ralbag explain that David tortured the Ammonites in order to frighten the surrounding nations from waging war against the Jewish People (Am Yisrael).

I know it's really really easy to write words that Bibi should have faith and should be stronger and there be the death penalty to the murderers....but, it's true.
They get a free ride and usually a release deal eventually and they go around doing what they are RAISED BY THEIR MOTHERS AND FATHERS TO DO: Devalue life to the point of committing murder.
Enough!

yitz, Leah, yes, to both of you and thanks for commenting.

yitz, that's one of the reasons I love learning Tanach.
Leah, if only Bibi was a "David..."
