Havel Havelim Vayishlach, Let's Send Prayers

I must start this edition of Havel Havelim a bit differently.  I can't just start with the logo/picture and the usual spiel.  This week's Parshat Shavua, Torah Portion of the Week is "Vayishlach," Genesis 32,4-36,43,
ד  וַיִּשְׁלַח יַעֲקֹב מַלְאָכִים לְפָנָיו, אֶל-עֵשָׂו אָחִיו, אַרְצָה שֵׂעִיר, שְׂדֵה אֱדוֹם.
4 And Jacob sent messengers before him to Esau his brother unto the land of Seir, the field of Edom.
Superman Sam and siblings
I want to send prayers to a number of Jewish bloggers in terrible pain.  This has been a very sad week in our Jewish blogging community here in Israel and abroad.

The Bima Ima's son, Superman Sam, needs a major medical miracle.  The ninja leukemia is back and the doctors have nothing left in their bag of tricks.

A number of bloggers I know were good friends with Stella, z"l who passed away this week.  Her husband has a blog, Yarden’s blog and I'll list a few posts I found about her:

A Holy Star Returns to the Heavens
Goodbye Stella
The Time Has Finally Come, Shalom
Saying Goodbye to My Rockstar

And now back to the regular program...

Havel Havelim is the weekly blog carnival, started many, many years ago by David of Soccer Dad, which offers links to many Jewish and/or Israeli blogs. HH  floats around the internet.  We organize it on our facebook page.  Links can be sent via blog carnival.  Let me know if you'll like to host an edition.  It's not hard.  Hosts will receive the links and the "instacarnival" from them and should also include other posts of their choosing.

Next week's host is Damaged Mirror.

As usual,  I'm using the "secret" format, my very favorite.  I'm just going to give you the titles and hope you'll visit more and more blogs.  Please share, visit and comment. Enjoy...

Thank you for the preface on Sam and Stella. I only know them both via blogs, but I've been following both stories, with a heavy heart. I wanted to post a bit on (the same people), but I'm doing November Blog Carnival, so all my blog time this week was working on that post.

Meant to say November Jewish Book Carnival.

should've followed Stella's struggle closer.

a memorial in yarden would be apropos. the bike tour in her memory should be an annual event.

i would treat "Superman Sam" to a complimentary trip to the Stables, but that's just me.
