The "Palestine Quiz," Some History

Dry Bones has joined the fray.

Here's most of my comment:
And the PLO was established 28 May 1964. The concept of a "Palestinian people" was a European idea to block the establishment of a Jewish State in the mandated territory.

On the whole it's a good idea to try to bring out the truth like this, but whoever wrote the quiz didn't do all that good a job.  It's no secret that the PLO was established in 1964.  That's one of the proofs given that it wasn't YESHA the Arabs wanted from Israel; it's all of pre-1967 Israel they want.

Great Britain spent most of the time, if not all, they had as administrators of "Mandated Palestine" to groom Arabs to take over and displace the Jews.  Stage one was when they gave the Hashemites all of the land east of the Jordan River. Their new historyless country was dubbed "Jordan."

Then they, the British conspired with other countries and the newly formed United Nations to divide the remaining territory, giving most to what they called the Palestinians.  The proposed map, the 1947 Partition Plan was a recipe for the defeat and destruction of a Jewish state.

In 1947, Great Britain relinquished to the UN the power to make decisions relating to the status of the Land of Israel. The General Assembly appointed a special committee that collected evidence and decided unanimously that Israel should be granted independence. Most of the committee members favored partitioning the land into two states, a Jewish state and an Arab state, with Jerusalem under international supervision. On November 29, 1947, the UN General Assembly accepted the partition resolution, 33 to 13.

Thank G-d and volunteers from all over the world, Israel defeated the British backed Arabs.

Israel had no allies when fighting for independence, and I don't think I'm paranoid when I say that push comes to shove  today we still don't have any country we can depend on when in danger.
