Could It Be A Chanukah Miracle

Just a week ago, as we began this year's eight day Chanukah holiday it seemed so certain that United States President Barack Hussein Obama and Israel's Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu would succeed in freezing the Jewish building, the Jewish community growth in Judea and Samaria.

Being a rather "davka" people, we Jews just kept on building.  Let the politicians and diplomats "yap" all they want; we are going to build.

Tonight, the eighth night of this year's Chanukah, the holiday when we celebrate the victory of the weak over the strong, when we celebrate the fact that "normal rules" don't apply to us, because we have G-d, the One, True G-d, I was reminded of that when watching the news.

Yes, it seems like Obama's plan isn't working.  I heard this great interview by Yoram Ettinger on IBA news.  You may still be able to hear it now.  I don't know how to save and post the minute or two which is important.  Ettinger says that the scheme Bibi, Hillary and Obama cooked up to freeze our building for another 90 days in the hope that it would jump-start the "negotiations"  has been frozen, OK, failed.
Of course, even now they refuse to recognize that the Arabs don't want peace, nor a "two state solution."  The Arabs want the whole tamale.  Bibi is fixated on this "peace" thing as if he has been hypnotised.  Rationally, logically, he has explained many times over the decades how it won't/can't work, but now he has joined the "two state" club.

I really hope you can hear what Yoram Ettinger said, because he mentioned some of the important things discovered in WikiLeaks and other information.  There's something dangerous in Obama's priorities as U.S. President.  He and Hillary are devoting an enormous amount of time and effort trying to establish a Pseudostinian aka Palestinian State sic, rather than dealing with two very crucial security, diplomatic and defense issues, Iran's nuclear development and the upcoming withdrawal of American forces from Iraq.

The State of Israel has had quite a Chanukah.  Here we are during the holiday which celebrates Light and requires lighting more and more candles or oil each night.  And davka what happened during the first half of the holiday?  We suffered our greatest, most disastrous, largest fire ever.  I see the Hand of G-d in this.

Our story isn't over.  The battle to build Jewish Life in the Entire Land of Israel is a long one.  It has been going on since before the Modern Zionists arrived in the HolyLand, replacing their Prayer Shawls with picks and shovels.  They lost direction when they stopped praying three times a day to Har HaBayit, The Temple Mount, and that's why they're more concerned with keeping "American friendship" rather than living according to G-d.

I'm just a little old grandma in Shiloh, yes, the Shiloh of Chana, Eli and Samuel, and I believe that if we do what we're supposed to do, Obey G-d's Laws and Settle and Build In Our Land, the world will finally leave us alone and let us live in Peace, True Peace.
