Arab Terrorists Attack, Again

It has been in the news here in Israel that a woman hiking near Beit Shemesh was attacked by Arabs, and the woman who had been with her is missing.  I decided to check if it's mentioned in the New York Times, but the only thing concerning Israel is:
Palestinian PM: Plan for State by 2011 on Track

No doubt that if they could manufacture an Arab who may have been attacked by Jews, that would have been a headline.  And another thing, how can the Pseudostinians aka Palestinians sic have a "PM," Prime Minister?

And even worse, the politicians running the Israeli Government seem oblivious to the fact that the Pseudostinians and numerous countries and international bodies have already started recognizing this new country which plans on supplanting the State of Israel.  Ignoring it won't help stop it.  Neither will trying for find a compromise.  They have made it very clear that they won't compromise.  All attempts are futile exercises in insanity.

WikiLeaks, whether moral or immoral shouldn't be ignored.  The cat's out of the bag.  It reveals how little the world thinks of Israel, and that we really shouldn't count on any other country, including the United States of America.

Back to the woman who was attacked by the Arab terrorists... She's an American citizen.  And still the New York Times hasn't been quick on the draw to post the news.

Animals don't kill for sport, fun and ideology.

Almagor calls the area around Beit Shemesh "the Wild West". Look at a map. It's very close to the "Green Line", and the Arabs take advantage of that.
Call them crazed beasts; they do kill wantonly.

The whole country is near the green line, except some part of the Negev where the beduin rule, steal, etc. Israel is a very tiny country.

Batya, just a reminder that the Bedouin rule, steal, etc., up north in the Galil as well.

Shy, thanks. I know that the situation down south is really awful. Is it that way in the north?

Yep. Bedouins just steal and encroach on everything up north and Israel's police and legal systems do nothing to deal with them.

Like fire prevention and so many other critical issues, Israeli governments continue to play Russian roulette, hoping it will not come to the fore during the current government's term.

Too true, so dangerous.

Anyone looking for a place to live and not finding one in YoSh should look at the Negev, the Galil and the Golan Heights. As Shy Guy said, the Bedouins are encroaching on everything. YoSh isn't the only area in Israel with a dire need for a Jewish presence. If you're the city type, Yaffo (Jaffa), Lod (Lyda), Ramle and Acco (Acre) need Jews too, for the same reason.

And French Hill and Pisgat Zeev and... lots of places in Israel. As long as you're in Israel.

I just read about French Hill (which is really French's Hill- French was a British officer, not a Frenchman) and Pisgat Ze'ev. It's incredible. Just about the only neighborhoods that the Arabs aren't taking over are heavily religious Jewish strongholds. For this so many died in the War of Independence?
On the media front, the BBC did immediately pick up the story. Originally they thought that both women were British and I wonder if they also thought that the women weren't Jewish.

Hadassa, in many ways, we have the easy life in our communities.
