Jews Who Fled The Nazis Were Sent Away by the United States, But Nazis Were Welcomed

Why do my fellow Jews refuse to accept the fact that the United States can't be trusted when it comes to Jews?

In the early twentieth century, American leaders began to notice that many, too many, Jews had been emigrating from Eastern Europe and more were packing their bags.  What did they, the Americans do?  They established quotas to preserve the nineteenth century demographics.  It suddenly became much more difficult for anyone (and most of those anyones were Jews) from Eastern Europe to get a visa to the USA.

This filtering/quota system wasn't loosened as the Nazis in Germany, and the European countries they conquered, persecuted and systematically murdered their Jewish population.  "Law is law" when it comes to restricting Jewish immigration.

Post World War II when Jewish survivors of the Holocaust wanted refuge, a chance to start a new life in the United States, it wasn't easy to get visas. At the same time, Great Britain also restricted Jewish immigration to the Holy Land.  There weren't too many options for the lucky survivors.  Nobody wanted them including those of their "old neighborhoods" who had stolen their homes and possessions.

But the United States Government welcomed some high ranking Nazis, giving them safe haven.

Also, don't forget that the United States' State Department recommended to President Harry Truman that he instruct the United Nations delegation to vote against a Jewish State on November 29, 1947.  After Truman was visited by a Jewish friend, he decided to buck the State Department and support the establishment of a Jewish State.

The United States isn't a true friend of Israel.  That is the truth. US President Barack Hussein Obama's antipathy to Israel isn't new in the history of United States-Israel relations.  I'm sure that you can add more and more examples to prove my statement.

I didn't put up this post on my blog because I hate the New YorkTimes and would not want people visiting their site, but just to prove the point you make here I include the link a friend of mine sent me:

An advantage of linking tnyt is that it gets you on their radar and they may link you.

I don't want their support, thank you. May they vanish from the horizon.

I don't consider it "support." I'm using them to increase exposure and get their readers to read my articles.

Another interesting point is that Harry Truman had to hide his intentions from the State Department. He actually gave the instructions to the Ambassador to the UN just before he was going to give a speech opposing the establishment of the State of Israel. The State Department had been negotiating with South American countries to get them to oppose the Partition Resolution.
