American Reliability?

How serious is the United States about its sanctions against Iran?  The politicians say one thing, but the money people say the opposite:

U.S. Enriches Companies Defying Its Policy on Iran
The federal government has awarded more than $107 billion in contract payments, grants and other benefits over the past decade to foreign and multinational American companies while they were doing business in Iran, despite Washington’s efforts to discourage investment there, records show. complete article
Remember that politicians world-over, not just American, speak in sound-bytes.  They have busy staffs hired to create just the right words and phrases to make people happy, to give their bosses good publicity and keep their ratings up.

Speech-writers don't make policy.  They make headlines.  Additional speech-writers are brought in for special occasions, like for visits to specific ethnic voters and foreign countries.  Their job is to tell attractive tales, not to say the truth.

No American President would say that the United States prefers a viable "Palestine sic" versus a viable, secure Israel.  They claim that there's no conflict/contradiction between the two, even though just a glance at the map and a quick reading of history would show otherwise.

Platitudes, platitudes, lies and more lies.  The late U.S. President, former movie star actor Ronald Reagan was right when he said that he considered his acting experience a most important qualification for the presidency.

We have truly reached an age where you are considered a liar for telling the truth. AND you are hated for it.

Well, the US has always been a Capitalist nation. Money drives foreign policy. Always has, always will.

And now with Obama at the helm the weights are tilted in Iran's favor. Note how it took him days after the Iranian protests to condemn the murder of young Iranians.

Even reporters jumped on him demanding to why it was taking him so long to respond.

He took the side of the Iranian regime and not the Iranian citizens fighting for freedom.

If I were an Israeli I wouldn't trust the US at all. Especially with O in office.
