At Least He's Dead

Strange things are being published about the terrorist who bulldozed innocent Israelis on Jaffa Street last week. Now, can an Arab drug addict be considered a terrorist? Or is he "just a" sicko?

Now, I'm very sensitive to terror attacks by Arabs on sidewalks labeled "accidents," since I was run over by an Arab terrorist over ten years ago. It was during that Oslo terror time. There had just been a number of Arab terrorist suicide bombers, so the government/police tried to prove that it was "just an accident" that the terrorist had made a sharp right onto the sidewalk/bus stop and then a sharp left over my foot and ended up murdering one and injuring dozens. It was a small car and not a bulldozer.

The way I see it, this incident is in-between or in a different category than either standard terrorist attacks or sicko attacks like Virginia Tech.

Yes, the guy had emotional and anger-management problems. But he also is being brought up in a sicko society, that teaches Jew hatred. So if his sicko society taught less Jew hatred and more anger management techniques, maybe this wouldn't have happened?

It seems to be its own category, to me. A related incident might be the guy in Seattle who went off his meds and decided to kill Jews in a Jewish community center. To me, the Seattle guy still to blame. Just because someone is manic-depressive doesn't give them permission to kill Jews.

Shalom!
The only proof we have that this was a terrorist attack and not "just" a murder is that the Arab called out "Allah akhbar!" before flipping over a bus and crushing as many cars he could. No more proof is necessary. Leora is right. This was not a standard terrorist attack, but what does that matter? The goal was standard: killing and maiming as many Jews as possible.
