To Serve Moetzet YESHA, I Presume

"Radioyosh" will most probably be a tool of the government.

Anyone who expects the new government-approved radio station "for settlers" to be a reincarnation of Adir Zik is hopelessly naive.

It will be run by the Moetzet YESHA crowd.

We should have demanded a commission of inquiry about Moetzet YESHA's disastrously unsuccessful "opposition" to Disengagement. Just like Olmert after the "second Lebanese War," they neither apologized nor resigned. All they did was add a few new people for window dressing.

I suspect that this radio station will be used by the government to undermine the struggle for the Land of Israel by promoting views of people like Othniel Schneller and R Bin Nun, while giving a bad press to the real opposition, treating them as dangerous extremists. The litmus test is if Rav Dov Lior or Rav Dudkevich can give uncensored shiurim there.

Exactly.
I don't think they'll be dumb enough to give Schneller time, but Rav Yigal Kaminetzky may get air-time.
I wonder if they'll have any broadcasts in English, French and Russian.
