It was a fund-raising event organized by my friend Debbie Dan of Beit El. Actually Debbie and I are old friends. We were on the NCSY National Board .... decades ago. I don't think she has changed a bit.
Melabev is an organization in Jerusalem which runs activities to help people suffering from Alzheimer's and other memory problems.
Friends of Melabev is organizing a real trek later in the month, but our walk was fine for us.
I was lucky that it fit in my schedule this year.
